Hey guys I am aware that Albe95 isn't creating roms for s4 anymore,could you guys advice me on a few new roms for s4 i9500 incorporating s6 or s7 style I'm using philz touch recovery.

thanks for taking the time to read and maybe respond to my questions. I just bought an unlocked S4 SGH i337 from ebay. While i was trying to manually upgrade it to newest firmware i realized that the firmware installed on it, was an 9500 variant!! I checked the device, it has sgh i337 written all over it, and i downloaded cpu-z and check that indeed, the hardware of the device is this of an sgh i337 but the software that is installed is from 9500. I dont know how and why did the seller do this, but i need your help on how to un-make this monstrosity. In the end i want to install lollipop on the device but i am not sure how should i proceed. My guess is to try to revert to stock, but i am afraid if i am gonna lose the "unlocking". Please leave your valuable inputs on the comments, while i will be searching over the internet and see if i can get a clue. Thank you.

Hello guys so I already posted about this and didn't find anyone who was willing to port the rom to i9500..
It was already released on i9506 development section
It is called:
[ROM-6.0.1][DarkWolf_FW][Galaxy S7 Edge Port][V2]
If it was ported to i9506 then it can be ported to i9500
So I am waiting for anyone who is willing to help i9500
Because there is not any tw based mm Rom for i9500

i9500 Always Awake when Charging

I'm having some issues with my phone being awake when it is charging. I've checked the most obvious causes such as daydream, and the keep awake setting, but neither were active.

I'm not sure what actually keeps it awake as battery stats end up being erased at 100%. I have Wakelock Detector installed but that doesn't give me any conclusive evidence either since again, the stats are gone once the phone is fully charged. This is mostly an inconvenience as after disconnecting the charger, the battery use is about normal and I can control the wakelocks through Greenify, Amplify and the Privacy Guard's keep awake function.

Has anyone else experienced/solved this issue before and what did you do?

I have noticed that most ROMs above 4.4 seem to have an adverse effect on battery life on my S4 and my Galaxy Tab 2. 6.0 seems to be giving me the same standby time of 4.4 however on my tab, so I was hoping that it'd do the same for my S4 as I want to move away from using the Davlik runtime.

I9500 heating

Recently my I9500 heats extremely near the top. Just above the SAMSUNG logo ...it heats upto an extend that you can iron your shirts with it. I reset the fuel gauge, gave a reset, disassembled the phone n cleaned it for dust particles but nothing helped. I am using lollipop firmware and it is rooted. Any help appreciated.

Hey everyone ... can i install touchwiz lollipop roms on kitkat base rom on s4 i9500 without updating s4 on official lollipop ?

No signal i9500 after downgrading to 4.4.2 [i dont know which modem should i flash]

Soory if it sounds dumbish, im from romania, carrier - orange. I flashed some stock firmware MBC-Germany or so, if it counts, that's the one i used to flash all the time since romania was not withing those firmwares.

samsung galaxy s4 i9500 gapps issue

HI i am new to this thread and I have some serious issue with gapps for cm12.1 OK to my problem...
I successfully flashed cm12.1 nightly latest ver. and have downloaded gapps(arm,5.1,nano) I am using twrp recovery flashed my ROM and gapps successfully and after rebooting I get many errors com.gapps , play services and many more errors like that but whenever I flash my ROM without installing gapps it works fine(with no play sgoogle play services etc) plz help me I am in serious trouble... My phone is s4 non lte plz help
