Anyone Find Any New Updates?

The Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge just got the WiFi Calling update from AT&T. Are there any updates on their server for our phones? Would look myself, but don't know how to begin.

LG G3 D851 NO LTE with updates

Hi.
I have a problem with my LG G3 D851, specifically with 4G LTE connectivity.
With its original firmware (10C), 4G LTE connectivity works fine, but when and upgraded to any higher version including 6.0, I lose 4G LTE connectivity, it works well with 3G or 2G, but not with 4G LTE.
I tried custom Roms, but the problem persists.
My question is. you can install a ROM of the current versions of android but with the modem an old version of android? kit kat for example.

P9 Lite Future Firmware Updates

Will P9 lite get Android N and newer versions of android? Guys how long do u think it will get software updates?

New PF1 and PG1 ROM updates.

Anyone have a link to these upgrades for those of us that can't get them OTA?

Sideloaded and trwp original ROM now ota updates fails.

I played around with cm had but decides to go back to stock. I installed with twrp and then got a update notice. I downloaded and trwp tried to install but fail. Use toolkit to load original recovery and downloaded uodate, not it says updating and then says recovery fail. And when phone boots up it ask to downloaded update. Any help would be appreciated

S7 Edge (SM-G935F) OTA Updates

I bought my s7 edge from Saudi Arabia (UAE (XSG) made) while on holidays . I'm currently in june 1 security patch.

I'm staying in India now. I would like to know whether I'll be receiving OTA updates?

Please help me out with the query. :confused: :confused:

P.S I didn't root my phone, neither did I flash any other rom.

I just bought a used T-Mobile Gear S2. I think (sadly) I know the answer but wanted to check. Are updates for the carrier versions maintained by the carrier or Samsung?

My windows rt is plagued with slow wifi (it looks for updates for hours and then it tells me the wifi is too slow...it's a 10mb connection and I've never had any issues with windows or android devices) which won't let me do most of the OS updates or install apps from the Windows Stores (I'm able to from time to time). So far it's been a horrible experience and I curse the day I've bought this piece of garbage.

My questions is, is there an ISO image with the OS containing the LATEST updates so I won't have to do any other updates? I've already refreshed the device and I've already done a factory reset, so I think installing a fresh image with the latest updates is my only hope.

How to Remove Amazon Ads on lock screen and Keep ota updates working.

BOOTLOADER UNLOCK IS REQUIRED FOR THIS TO WORK

STEPS
1. unlock bootloader
2. flash stock ATHENE_MPJ24.139-48_cid50_subsidy-DEFAULT_CFC.xml.zip Firmware in RSD Lite or use my RSD lite for mac or linux use the servicefile.xml in the firmware to keep your data and apps.
2. download and run the batch file in XT1625-Remove-Amazon-Ads-only-keep-apps.zip tool. Just click on the remove-amazon-ads.bat and follow the directions.
3. once device reboots your good to take ota updates or adb sideload the latest ota update

NOTE
ads will not be restored on the device after a ota update until Amazon decides to push something to the device that affects the one app i deleted from the oem.img that displays the ads.

So I ask you guys, if you have more experience with oneplus, how's the speed of updates and stability?

I saw that oneplus 2 got the mm update only one month ago?

Hi guys, ive got a Galaxy S3 which lately was running on Philz Touch CWM + one of the latest ArchiDroids, unfortunaly ive encountered an issue where sometimes people with whom ive been talking to stopped hearing me after a while. The only solution for that was taking the phone away from my face, then waiting till the screen lights up, and that always solved the issue for that particular call. Ive stopped using that phone since ive got a new one, however i want to get it working again, thats why i wiped whole phone and installed a stock samsung rom through Odin. Now im wondering if flashing the "I9300XXUGNG3_I9300XEOGNG1_I9300XXUGNA8_HOME.tar.m d5" through the PDA box in Odin updates the modem as well? If not, any place where i can find a proper modem for Poland? Ive found a topic with modems however none for my region.

Oukitel K10000 radio baseband updates available?

The Oukitel K10000 uses the Mediatech MT6537P chipset.

For 3g connectivity it only accesses the frequencies: WCDMA 1900/2100MHz

Is there a way to get a new radio firmware that fully unlocks the frequencies for 3g?

I saw another phone with the MT6537P that had 850 and 1900 frequencies for 3g but I cannot find it now that I want to link to it.

My father-in-law has the k10000 on AT&T right now and only gets 2g on the edge network, but I heard that AT&T is dropping 2g support so I want to future proof his phone by enabling 3g on it.

Marshmallow Updates Issues .....

Here are the Marshmallow Update 6.0.1 issues I have so far on my T-Mobile Note 4 (just updated today):
1) Random Reboot
2) Amazon app issues
3) Can't open txt. files
4) Can't reset the Default app to open up PDF files
5) Lag
6) Apps suddenly quitting
7) Increased battery drain

Updates

Just bought my soon to be 6 year old daughter a 64gb turbo xt1254 on .44

I intend on unlocking it but keeping it stock. Now I have questions that have never pertained to me since I went cm immediately after boot loader unlock.

1: can you update a stock phone but unlocked boot loader via the normal ota process.

1.5: can I just use stock recovery and a stock zip ota file

2: if you can't can I use motos software to do it and not lose her data (games)

3: will it work without a Sim on WiFi?

I am still considering going cm13 with it.
I don't like bloatware but I want easy updates perhaps I should just go that way. I'm sure (hoping) @skrillax_cz will bring us android n and I have my doubts moto will.

I really really really wish someone would create a nexus experience rom and maintain it. A vanilla android with a few minor tweaks would be amazing.

How good is HTC with updates and support

I'm thinking about getting this phone. How good is HTC when it comes to supports and updates? Are they one of the companies that drops support after a year of device life or do they continue to support it with updates for a few years?

Alos is it easy to update the official ROM with root and s-off or are there weird requirements/steps to update when you're rooted?

What is S-OFF, what can i do with it, and how do i achieve it ?

How can i revert everything so i can update it or where can i find the packages to update it ?
