Stock based ROMs switching from 4G to 1x to roaming to no data

I've tried flashing the 10b tot and then using the 47a rom, and I've also tried VS985 v2.0 both with the same issues. I'm running 35b bootstack. It seems random whenever it switches, as it goes from 4g to 1x to roaming (both on 4g and 1x) to no data.

The "Rode" Warrior gave me some suggestions about trying from stock 10b, but still having data issues.

If anyone has a solution please let me know, I want to avoid running stock at all costs :/

Samsung S7 SM-G930K roaming greyed out

Hi all,

I am a newbie to this forum. I have got the SM-G930K from Hong Kong. It looks like the phone has the Korean Olleh Rom which I am expected. But I would like to have the Data Roaming turn on, however this option is greyed out and disabled. I would like to know if any of the expert has this issue? And how can I fix this? The reason I like this feature is because I am on Vodafone Australia they offer /per day roaming when I am overseas (in some countries).

Do I need to root my phone or is that something to do with the SIM card?

Wifi roaming bug is back on S7

I have two wifi APs with the same SSID and it will stick to one of them with next-to-useless connection while standing near the other one. which would have much better connection.

This works fine on my Nexus 9 tablet and even better on my iPad and my wifes iPhone..

I tried some possible workarounds like Always allow wi-fi roam scans but I didn't see any effect.

This fix for SG3 might work but i havn't rooted.

Data roaming even when data is disabled

I was recently out of the country so I disabled cellular data and data roaming on my 5X phone. When my T-Mobile bill came, I had data connection charges several times each day. I called T-Mobile and they said they were all application updates. How can my phone connect to mobile data when I turned it off? I've seen posts about the same issue but never saw a solution. If anyone has figured out how to fix this please let me know. Otherwise I'L just get rid of this phone,

Roaming In Mexico

I'm currently running Viper10, but last time I went to Mexico, data roaming wasn't working correctly, but I could still call and text just fine (I flashed as US Unlocked). I'm going back to Mexico again today, so should I flash the ROM as international or T-Mobile US for data roaming to work correctly in Mexico?

EDIT: Forgot to mention that T-Mobile is my carrier.

National Roaming / R Icon

Hello, lots of people have the problem that national roaming is not working and that the signal icon is just showing a R!

You just have to download and enable this Xposed module !

Now national roaming is working and you see like for example 3G icon instead of the R!
