Microphone on headset

Hey guys, i'm using the soundcamp from Samsung and sometimes i need to use the microphone to record something over another record, so i need to use the headser to record, but i don't want to use the microphone from the headset, is there any way to use the headset and microphone from the phone

I'm sure most Nexus phones users can say that it sucks buying a headset for our phone. Most likely volume controls or a different feature won't work and the thing is some headsets are fully functional but there is no real way to tell just by reading a product description.


So here lives the solution! A list of headsets that work with the Nexus 6P.

How can i use any VR headset for cardboard supported apps and games?

Hi all,
I've recently bought a not so famous vr headset to use with my phone, but lots of games only use cardboard magnet to trigger something. And some other games give me this "Pocket experience. Please place on your headset" and i don't know what it requires (maybe presense of the cardboard magnet).
How can i bypass these problems to enjoy what i payed for?

CM13 headset buttons fix

Hello! Maybe some of you've realized that problem with headphones. The problem occures for me since I've moved to 6.0 (no matter which version SultanXDA, Ressurection etc.), my headset is original red OPO JBL E1+ - headset has 3 buttons, 2 for volume control -+ and one for play/pause. By default only VOL- has worked fine... So I've made simple fix by editing key layout :) Now I have fully working three buttons no matter of which 6.0 ROM I'm using. You may want to try it and tell me if it is working for you too.

bluetooth calls via headset "problem"

guys.. when i use a bluetooth headset and the phone is on my poket.. many times happen that i answer from the bluetooth device.. but the display it automaticaly turn on .. when phone is in the poket and sometimes happen that"call options " activate alone.. cose phone is not locked anymore. . even if i don`t even take it out from my poket it automaticaly turn on and unlocked once someone call me. .. anyone knows how to make phone remain locked even if i answer a call from a headset device ? or when someone call me ? i want to remain locked and answer call from the headset.. its a nightmare when i`m driveing..

[help] Headset constantly plays sound of microphone

Hello all,

Whenever I plug in a wired headphone I can hear the sound of the headset microphone. It's very annoying, especially when walking and it's windy.

Is there any known issue that would be causing this? Any troubleshooting steps?

I'm on rooted stock, headset is a rha MA750i.

Weird noise on other side of line when using headset

Hi all,

Whenever I'm on a call with someone and am using a wired headset, the person on the other end complains about a weird noise. So I called one of those line test numbers and sure enough I heard the noise when it's played back to me. I don't hear the noise when I'm using the phone's microphone, only a headset's. I've tried using 3 different headsets and all have the same issue. I've used these headsets with other phones without issues as well. I'm on T-mobile if that makes a difference.

Have anyone encountered this issue and is there a solution for this?

Increase In-call volume output bt headset

Does anyone know how to increase the output volume to the Bluetooth headset during a phone call? I've already tried using Viper and it only seems to increase the volume for playing music. I do a lot of driving for a living and I need to have the volume louder while I'm on the phone. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Caller ID not being heard on Bluetooth headset

I have Plantronics voyager legend that supports caller ID through PBAP. Yet for some reason this is not working with my Huawei mate 8.

Anyone tried a similar setup did it work?

VR using cheaper headset and remote? Still possible?

So I'm interested in VR. Looks like the inexpensive headset from Samsung () doesn't support the note 4 without physically modifying the unit for the note 4 to fit? I'm going by what I've read and seen on YouTube as I have not tried for myself.

While searching around, I've found several generic VR headset that come with a Bluetooth remote controller for about .

My question is for those familiar with VR. Seems to me like when you dock your note 4 in a Samsung VR headset via USB it put the phone in a VR mode where you can launch and control games, videos, etc...

So can you do the same with one of these generic headset that do not have a usb docking port?

Obviously I'm sure you could play VR youtube videos, but what about the occulus gallery? The VR specific games? Can you force the note 4 into whatever VR mode the Samsung branded headset initializes (by usb docking) without it being usb docked?

Hoping someone who has used VR on the note 4 will chime in with some advice.

Using Google Cardboard or any other VR Headset

Hey folks,

has anyone of you found out how to use the OP3 with Google Cardboard apps, YouTube 360° Videos or other VR apps?

The moment i enter a VR mode in any of the apps or YouTube 360°, the OP3 doesn't react to any movements (which is the sense of VR) any more. So looking around isn't working, mostly the apps even don't start and are stuck one the initial screen. In YouTube 360° videos i can only look straightforward, a look left or right is impossible.

I'm on the latest stock OTA 3.2.0 version of OxygenOS. Nothing else changed, no root or other modifications.

I have a flat s7 with no root and I'm not find a way to play music trough my Bluetooth and wired headsets.
Probably the s7 allows to pair two Bluetooth devices but is quite expensive for me buy another.....
It's possible by to achieve want I want with a App? If so, show me how!

Bluetooth headset issue

I'm having problems with the controls on my bluetooth headset(Jaybird Bluebuds) connected to my M8(stock).

The headphones have an inline remote with three buttons- one for volume up, one for down, and in the middle one for play/pause. The middle button is activating some redial command when all that it should be doing is play/pause. I was able to find reports of similar issues via the google which suggested several different applications which were suppose to fix this but none of them were able to fix the problem for me. They sort-of help by making it so the first few times I hit play/pause it works but then later on I get a little voice saying redial several times in rapid succession as if it is just getting queued up.

To be clear, this is just on a single press completely different from the long-press that activates the voice command thingy.

It was mostly working as desired a while ago, occasionally it would mess up but I attributed that to me not hitting the button right. Lately it has gotten unbearable. It has been especially difficult to try and narrow down this problem as it seems to be random as to whether it decides to play/pause my music properly or try to redial. Since I am constantly using my M8 as a podcast/audiobook player I really need to get this fixed, and if I need to do any rooting or custom rom stuff to get it to work how I need it to I'm willing, but I need to be pointed in the right direction.

Spotify and Bluetooth Headset/Analog Headset.

Hi, I'm relatively new to using tasker and I was looking for a way to make a profile that will do this:
If spotify launches. I want it to check if there's an headset plugged in, and if there isn't i'd like it to turn on bluetooth.

As said i'm relatively new to Tasker as in almost completly new i've only managed to create some very few basic profiles. I tried searching for an answer but I found nothing (That I could make sense of anyhow). I'd appreciate if anyone could help me do this!
