has anyone being ableto find the settings for the camera? been unable since MM update.

Group Messaging Option Gone

I've tried the following but I cannot get group Messaging Option (checkbox within stock messaging app) to stick: removing apps, reseting default, format cache, format data, flash back to stock, and odin. The best result occur immediately after flashing via odin but shortly after, the option disappears again.

Any ideas?

Any confirmation that this proble/option persist on custom roms?

Apps gone after restart - just green android icons - not using App2SD

Hello, dear experts!

I just got a new Lg G3 d855 32gb with stock android 6.0. I rooted and installed twrp according to the tutorial by tute123456.
I recovered my apps from an old phone (with android 5.1) using Titanium Backup Pro.
I made some custom settings in some apps, rearranged my apps on the homescreen, restarted the phone several times, etc.
At first everything worked flawless and as expected....

Then after another restart, suddenly almost all of my (about 150 of 200 apps) where gone and instead of their app icon a green android icon appeared on the home screen (see screenshot):


When i click on the green icon i get the message "this app is not installed". Also the apps are not showing up as installed anymore in google play store or in TitaniumBackup. BUT they still take up space in the application root folder (/data/data/...).



Of course i could recover the apps again with TitaniumBackup, but as i have arround 200 apps this would take a couple of time (at least 30 minutes)...
I guess that in fact the apps are not really gone but something has just broken the links to the apps. :confused:

So this is what i did so far... unfortunately without success:

1. I restarted the phone several times and waited long time before entering the sim code... no change!


2. i started Market doctor in TitaniumBackup, but the gone apps doesn't show up.


3. I wiped dalvik cache with TWRP, after restart the upgrading dialog box appears but only 56 (of arround 200) apps are rebuilt.


4. I tryed repair system in TWRP... no success!


5. I recovered all apps using TitaniumBackup again... the now uptaking space increased (!)... after a few restarts (maybe 10 to 12)... same thing again... funny little green android icons :eek:

I didn't ever move any apps to sdcard and never made use of app2sd. And i always took care not to restore any system apps with TitaniumBackup. :good:

Do you have any idea what happend to my android?
Why did everything work as expected even after some restarts?
Do have any idea how to recover my apps permanently ??

data menu gone?

So ##data# or ##debug# is disabled now? Is their another way to access either menu on 6.0.1?

Galaxy s6 all files gone

I tried downloading xposed on my phone, but it got stuck on the tmobile loading screen, so I panicked and I wiped everything from my phone. There is nothing on it only 2 folders labeled 0 and twrp. I am able to go to download and recovery mode. I have tried flashing the stock ram using odin but i get a failure message. When i boot my phone its just a black screen with the blue led on. How do i fix this?

HTC one m7 baseband service has gone

htc one m7 .... IMEI and basde band service just gone.. i tried a lot .. it comes and stay for 1-5 hours then again it vanishes . boot loader is unlocked and tempered . what should i do now . i already tried a new RUU. but still i am facing the same problem. Please help me

Private Mode Gone From Browser After Factory Reset

I recently factory reset my phone to stock firmware after a rooting mishap. For some reason, the "Secret Mode" button is now missing from the tab selection on the Internet browser. The browser is version 1.0.40-53 and I'm running firmware 6.0.1. The CSC is TMB and was originally TMB. My "More" menu on the tab selection still has the "New Secret Tab" but it doesn't ask for a fingerprint or password. Any ideas on how to fix it?

default download manager app is gone?

I was on marshmallow, but I downgraded to lollipop so I could root again. Once I was rooted I noticed that that default download app is gone. If I look through all the apps in the settings I see it, but there is no icon in the app drawer so I cant actually open the app.

My root is gone but bootloader is still unlocked

Hi all.
Yesterday I noticed a issue while using greenify, it says "Failed to put Facebook,Snapchat into hibernation." I've never experienced this before. So I thought that it could be about root and downloaded root checker.
I run it an it says "Root access is not properly installed on this device." But when I restart in recovery mode it says that bootloader is still unlocked.

And also some strange things happen. App permissions change randomly etc.
I tried a hard reset this morning, but everything is same.

I don't know much about this root thing. My device is second hand, and it had root when I got the phone.

Edit: I'm using stock rom 6.0.1 MOB30P, and stock recovery

Notification led has gone after battery replacement

Hi all,
I replaced my z1's battery. After turned on, battery status was always same and just %1. I used it 1.5 hour. Then it's over... I couldn't turn on phone again. I guess I experienced with z users' trouble. Then I tried reset button and power - volume + (a lot of), another adapters, cables, even my old battery. And then I finally can use new battery. It accepted charging after all of this stuff.

But I have a problem since I replaced new battery at first. Notification led is not working anymore. No led while charging, at apps... I saw that stamina settings has gone after replacement. There is no more software changes I guess bcs I didn't change. Do you have any idea? Is there a possibility for hardware problem while opening back cover?

Immersive mode gone?

I've been searching through my settings to enable immersive mode for the home screen but I can't find it. Is it gone forever?

Moto G rooting gone wrong stuck at bootloader unlocked warning screen. (Different )

So I followed a guide on the internet on how to root my Moto G 3th gen (not saying the name because I dont' want to advertise it) .... I wish I followed the guide on XDA instead because I think my phone is bricked now.
Everything went fine but after flashing the SuperUS.zip my phone gets a warning bootloader screen every time I boot it up.

I can start up TWRP recovery but I get to see the screen and after that I see a bunch or errors like :
could not find /date and find crypto and footer


Also my laptop cant find my phone now if I connect it with my laptop. (On the drive maps)
If I do a fastboot devices I can see my phone.
commands like fastboot reboot still work.

I tried flashing the TWRP recovering again But I keep seeing the error messages and after that I goes back to the bootload screen.


Is my phone bricked or is there a way to solve this...?

Can someone guide me to the right path here...

Voice Calls/Contacts Gone. Help

So I got all wrapped up in the new TouchWiz Grace UX beta project. Specifically --> http://forum.xda-developers.com/note...chwiz-t3400611

I downloaded to sd. Booted into recovery. Factory Wiped via TWRP and installed the ROM. While there are minor updates like the icons and a couple new apps, my settings, notification drawer etc did NOT change to the Grace UX. On top of that I've now lost the ability to make/receive calls. The phone and contact app are gone completely. Frustrated and disappointed, I wiped the phone again to revert back to stock and the issue is still here. What now?

I'm running 6.0.1 on jovi's Stock_Modified Kernel. Any thoughts?

My lock screen is gone, cant unlock sim card either.

Hi guys, I have a serious problem,my lockscreen is gone. In the settings it's set to 'pattern lock'.. And also I did not disabled it with other mods/apps.. Can you guys help me somehow? Or just how to unlock the sim card? (i know the pin for it, but its just doesnt ask for it, but its locked) more info about my phone in my signature.

Display gone blank, touch and sound working fine, vibrations are fine

It would be very kind of you if I can get some help here.

My Yu Yureka got a little wet in the rain but was working fine. A little while later when I wasn't in the rain any more I tried to use my phone. The display flickered for a minute or so before it went blank. I dried off the phone and tied restarting the device but I saw a vertical bluish strip before it went blank again. Now whatever I do, the display doesn't show a thing. I can receive calls, listen to all sorts of sounds the phone makes in general, feel the vibrations and even unlock the device while the screen is completely blank.

Could anyone suggest a solution to this? I would be very grateful.

Google play store is gone

I Uninstalled my Google play using an app that I download from Google play. I wanted to return my Google play so I factory reset my tablet and the app was no there anymore (sorry for the bad english)

Bricked Samsung galaxy grand duos gt19082 recovery is gone

My phone cant switch on normally, i was trying to install custom rom, i booted into recovery mode and i back up the rom incase of any mistake, but the custom rom did not install, so i was unable to boot into recovery or downloaad mode since then but my phone was still working properly, and later i was trying to fix that recovery and download mode at booting up, so i downloaded root explorer and i entered into system/bin and i deleted everything that is there thinking those files are responsible for me not to boot to recovery or download mode, after i have deleted it, i switch off my phone and switch it on, but the phone only display samsung logo aand switch off back. Problem is that my booting file at system/bin all have been deleted and no booting file there to enable the samsung to boot properly. booting file is missing but before deleting that files, i have full system back up, so since i cant boot into recovery or download mode on samsung GT 19082, is there a way i can reinstall that files i deteled from system/bin folder or is there a way i can restore the backup file since i cant boot into recovery r download mode so that everything will work well again? Thanks alot for your help.
