So I checked out the update for the Help app which had the tests for all these device functions, one of which was GPS. And since then it has been consuming battery life. The day after I tested it consumed over 50% of battery. I have cleared data, disabled and uninstalled updates to it and yet it still consumes some battery. Any idea why? And how to fix?

Aggressive battery draining issue
Hello,
I own my Nexus 6P since January and in those times I managed to get over 5hours SOT (with any kernel and any rom basically). Then, I flashed the AK kernel version 63 and my troubles have started - it triggered massive battery drain. Then I tried to clean wipe and flash stock, then CM, then ElementalX kernel, then ResurrectionRemix, Fanco kernel, Blisspop, PureNexus and everything but the battery drain persisted even though I never flashed AK kernel again. It is 2 months now since I have this issue and I can not seem to locate the source of it. I thought a simple full wipe and flash would fix it, but it did not. I even tried to flash January's stock images, but it did not help either. I tried to uninstall Facebook, Messenger, Viber and all other apps, flashed older and newer Gapps, but NOTHING worked. The SOT that I can get from the first issue until now is MAXIMUM 3hours of SOT. I am desperate. Really desperate. Please, if any Android guru can help me I would really appreciate it with all my heart!

Hi this is my mother's phone. She use internet very little and keeps wifi off when its not in use. This problem keeps coming in every few weeks. The phone heats itself with no apps in use and in screen locked status and the battery is drained. When I saw battery usage it showed WiFi using 47% battery. Also I have tried doing factory reset last month.

Android system draining battery.
Hello, today I noticed that my battery was worse than usual, so I checked what was draining it and android system was second after screen. It says stay awake 1h 15 min from total 1h 30min since full charge. It's already 80% with less than 1h sot, normally it is better. What can I do ?

Cell Standby Suddenly Draining Battery (CM13 RR)
Last night I had a problem with my home wifi (phone couldn't connect--Authentication error). I rebooted the router and it connected. Then I noticed an hour or two later that my phone was warm and the battery drained about 20%. I charged it fully and went to bed. Six hours later and the battery was completely dead.
Cell Standby is using 60%. I wiped the dalvik and cache in recovery and it's still using 60%.
The phone is on CM13 RR (6/22).

[Q] What is draining my battery
I have a Galaxy S6 Edge+. It's a second hand phone and I have only been using it for a couple of days. But I think it uses way too much battery doing nothing.
Last night I charged it to 100% and then unplugged. It had used 51% from just idle. I see that AndroidOS is using 46%... The phone is not rooted. Is my battery broken or is this something I can find out? How can I find out what part of Android drained half my battery overnight?

Accuweather GPS draining battery?
Hi XDA
I have this weird battery drain issue on my OnePlus 3. The app accuweather seems to be draining it. Look at the screenshots and you can tell that "GPS" seems to be always on. Everytime i go back and forth the timer goes up. Is this normal?
I have tried disabling active services for that app with the "disable service" app to no avail. What should i try? Im rooted and running stock os
Thanks in advance!
