No fastboot no recovery no custom recovery only hboot mode

My brother updated his phone via official updates while he was rooted ..... And later on idk what he did and just typed some commands in cmd and now not even able to boot into fastboot nor recovery only option with
1. Recovery
2. Fastboot
3. Normal
These are the only options available whatever i select it just boots into screen where it says
"HTC powered by android "

Asus Zenfone 2 (ZE551ML) Stuck at Asus logo screen. Cannot enter fastboot menu.

As mentioned in the title of the thread, my Zenfone 2 is stuck at the Asus logo screen. I tried installing an OTA update with the phone being rooted.
To solve this initial problem, i flashed Temp CWM with the help of my computer. I successfully got to the recovery menu and attempted to wipe all of the phone's data. I don't know if it did or not, because it got stuck on this process for 10 minutes, apparently not doing anything. So I did something that may have completely f****d the phone. I restarted it during the 'wipe'.
So here came the second problem: I cannot access the Fastboot screen anymore, therefore I cannot flash anything, and it still won't open. :crying:
Desperately, I even tried using the Asus Flash Tool to flash its original firmware, while at the logo screen. It won't move.
So, in case someone actually knows how to solve this, or there's someone with the same problem of mine alongside which I can mourn my dead phone, I'll leave this thread here. I also have an additional question: is the warranty valid in this situation?

[Q] i cant get TWRP recovery installed via either , SP Flash tools nor Fastboot

I did everything that was stated in the how to's but to no avail. additionally i cant get TWRP installed via fatboot, i have checked and crosschecked usb debugging and unlock OEM , but i cant get it to work , with SP Flash my phone pops up and vanishes in the hardware manager withing fractions of a second so it doesnt work with the sp Flash , in fastboot it wont let me download to recovery even if i use the command line oem unlock , because the volume up button that you have to use to accept[yes] doesnt work , only the vol down[no ] button has an effect, anyone any ideas anyone?

Restore Download mode from Fastboot

Hi,
I have a d415 that i booted into fastboot mode with and wanted to unlock bootloader with. I then found out that it was already unlocked. Now i would like to restore download incase i screw anything up. I have the laf.img. Where do i go from there? None of the commands i type in fastboot mode work, possibly because i didn't correctly install the fastboot and adb drivers. If that is the problem, can someone give me clear instructions on how to download them, thanks. Instead, i used the basic adb and fastboot files from a different thread from android sdk. Adb doesn't even work anymore for me now. Please help

Unable to run android fastboot even after replacing the screen

At its OPO I changed the display the frame and battery. Installation went without any problems. Unfortunately, after launching the phone started only Cyanogen Recovery. Display and touch functions entirely without any problems. So I wanted to re-install CM13, but the phone does not run fastboot. You can not run from Cyanogen Recovery or VOL + POWER-UP. How To Restore Everything Using Fastboot?

I got into problem after flashing the Beta 7.0. I need to restore my phone using fastboot since the eRecovery that I got gave me only 3 options: update, reboot, shutdown.

I have tried flashing the system.img, boot.img and recovery (both stock and TWRP). During flashing everything looked OK without any error but I still get this when booted:

"Your device has been unlocked and cant be trusted - your device is booting now..." and it just stucked there.

My phone is bricked, it boots on fastboot mode, when i plug it to pc it shows this lines:

when i try to go into download mode it works for few seconds then go back to fastboot with the same lines

Unable to Install TWRP from Fastboot Mode

Hello Guys im attempting to install TWRP 3.0.2 on my Moto X 2nd Gen 2014 with Android 6.0 Official but im getting an error in my command prompt. I have already attempt to request and an unlock code for unlocking the bootloader but motorolas site state my phone is not authorize for unlocking it. Does my phone need to have boot loader unlocked to be able to follow this step? First I must say, I searched all over the internet for answer to this problem. None of the topics I read had matched my problem.

I want to unlock my bootloader so I can flash custom recovery and get root access.

When I want to access the bootloader ("adb reboot bootloader"), in my phone all goes fine (I see on my phone the Fastboot instructions, etc). The problem is in my computer that fastboot won't recognise my phone anymore. When I want to get the device-id, fastboot is stuck on "waiting for all devices". When I want to see the list of devices, ("fastboot devices"), I get nothing, wether my phone is on bootloader mode or not.

I installed all the LG drivers, including the ADB one. I am in USB debugging mode, and I disabled OEM protection.

Android version is Lollipop.

I need help on this matter, thanks in advance.

Won't boot past fastboot screen - CM13

I'm currently running CM12.1 on my HTC One M8, and have been successfully doing so for the past 6 months.

I decided to try and install CM13 today after all this time, and the CM13 and Gapps install were clean (i.e. TWRP reported it as successful) Then when I clicked reboot system, it loads into fastboot for some reason, not into the normal reboot screen.

Even after rebooting 5 or 6 times, it still repeatedly goes back into fastboot. Anyone had a similar problem who could help me out ?

I backed up, therefore am back to 12.1 for now.

stuck on fastboot

I have a problem with my phone (Mi4i, original rom). Last thing I did was unzipping a file then it rebooted and got stuck into the black screen and log of Mi4i. I tried to go into a special mode and didnt find recovery but a fastboot mode (pressing POWER + Volume-).
Q1: What happened ? is my rom dead ?
Q2: I have some important file on the phone, is there a way to download the files ?
Q3: What rom should I use to flash it again ? Im on linux.

Starts on Fastboot

Hi there

Hadn't used the phone for awhile so charged it up but whenever it starts it goes straight to Fastboot. No other screen appears.

I have gone in to HBOOT and done a factory reset and still the same.

It is in original state [no root etc].

The Fastboot page says

Fastboot just won't recognize my Nexus 6, ADB works fine.

I have the google usb drivers and my Nexus 6 shows up in device manager as all good and recognized
I turned on USB debugging and allow OEM unlock
ADB sees the device and works perfectly

Fastboot won't recognize there is a device connected no matter what I try, always waiting for device

Lg G3 Fastboot mode started.

Hi everybody, i've an issue with my LG G3 D855(Hong Kong). I bought it with the D85510M version (kitkat). I flashed it with the D85510B with "flashtool 1.8, tot file and a dll file" but it stopped at 94%. Since then, i can't access download mode and recovery. The phone stucks in the Logo and after few minutes goes to fastboot mode. I khow that i have to flash the partitions to restore download mode but the problem is that i can execute the command "Fastboot reboot" but not the other commands. fastboot erase "partition" returns: "failde to erase partition". Fastboot flash "partition" file.img returns: "flash write failure". The latest Android ADB drivers are installed (android adb interface in device manager).
adb devices return nothing. fastboot devices : "? Fastboot."
What is the problem ? Help me please... I'm in windows 10 but i have the same probleme when using Ubuntu. please help me...

hi...my friend gave me an s7 to mess with...and well...i did...i unlocked the bootloader in dev settings...got into recovery...and hit fastboot to see what it would do...well...it got stuck on that screen saying fastboot mode....never had a phone with fastboot...not even sure if this is an exynos or snapdragon phone...figured id just let the battery die and try to restart it....i any other tips? i know this is idiotic ive looked into fastboot and found about flashing things and whatnot...i just want to restart the phone for now lol
