Galaxy S5 SM-G900V Samsung Account Lock: No WIFI to Choose at the Wizard WIFI Screen

I bought this phone which was freezing up. I thought that a firmware upgrade would do the trick. However, there was a Samsung Account of the phone and I was not aware of. The phone goes to the first set up screen, asks me to connect to WIFI but there is not WIFI providers to choose from. I click in the refresh WIFI list and the phone asks me to turn on WIFI. However, I do not have access to the WIFI on/off switch due to Samsung account lock. After a couple minutes the phone would again freeze up. Sometimes it restarts or it would simply stay in a black screen. I have to remove the battery and start the process all over. I have tried re-flashing via ODIN . I update the phone via Verizon Software Assistance to the latest firmware Marshmallow G900VVRU2DPF4. But I downgraded to G900VVRU2BOE1 Lollipop 5.0 firmware now. I also tried removing the account by flashing the modem.bin file but I get stock in the same spot. Guys, please help!

[Help] SM-G900V stuck on boot logo

Rooted S5 running Lollipop. Followed the instructions here: goo. gl/QkooVR to upgrade to Marshmallow and keep root.

I flashed the stock ROM with FlashFire and set the reboot mode to download. Everything was fine except that it never booted into download mode, it just froze at the Samsung logo, so I waited 30 min, no result, took the battery out, put it back in, went to download mode manually.

Then I installed the PF4 tar.md5 file via Odin. Again, everything went fine except it never booted up properly and was again stuck at Samsung logo. So, I waited 30 more minutes, no result, took the battery out, put it back in, manually booted into stock recovery. Checked the android version and it said it was 6.0.1.

Tried installing the md5 file several more times, same result. Tried rebooting without installing it again first, same result. What do I do? Should I wipe data partitions and dalvik cache? If I do, then what happens?

Help with downgrading to android 4.4.4 on SM-G900V?

To start out, I will say that I am not the best with this kind of stuff and do not know THAT much about rooting/flashing ROMs and what not. I have read many posts about how to go about doing this and here is what I tried. I downloaded Odin 3.11.1 and the most recent Android 4.4.4 version (USA) from SamMobile. I turned my phone off and put it into download mode. After this, I started Odin, and pressed VOL up on my device to continue. Odin said "Added". I selected the file to flash in the AP section (G900VVRU1ANK2_G900VVZW1ANK2_G900VVRU1ANK2_HOME.ta r.md5) and hit start. This is what came up in Odin:

<ID:0/006> Added!!
<OSM> Enter CS for MD5..
<OSM> Check MD5.. Do not unplug the cable..
<OSM> Please wait..
<OSM> Checking MD5 finished Sucessfully..
<OSM> Leave CS..
<ID:0/006> Odin engine v(ID:3.1101)..
<ID:0/006> File analysis..
<ID:0/006> SetupConnection..
<ID:0/006> Initialzation..
<ID:0/006> Get PIT for mapping..
<ID:0/006> Firmware update start..
<ID:0/006> SingleDownload.
<ID:0/006> aboot.mbn
<ID:0/006> NAND Write Start!!
<ID:0/006> FAIL! (Auth)
<ID:0/006>
<ID:0/006> Complete(Write) operation failed.
<OSM> All threads completed. (succeed 0 / failed 1)

I have tried this many times with all the USB slots on my PC and with 3 different cords. I have also tried different versions of Odin. I'm not sure if any of that would change anything, like I said, I do not really know what I am doing. Am I doing something wrong here? Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks, Hunter.

[Help] Install twrp in Galaxy s5 sm-g900v 6.0.1

Hey there I just got a new samsung galaxy s5, and I have been searching on the internet since yesterday, and haven't been able to find a thread that gives me information about installing custom recovery or installing a rom based in stock without any bloatware.

My phone is the samsung galaxy s5 sm-g900v (not rooted, i haven't been able to do it, maybe it's not posible yet :( )
android 6.0.1
kernel version 3.4.0

So my questions are:

Can I flash the twrp.tar file with odin?

Is there anyway to install a rom based in the stock of samsung but without bloatware?

And finally, can I root android 6.0.1 in my verizon s5?

Thanks in advance :)

SM-G900V OC7 to unlock, help please!

Hi! I'm spending hours (spent already to understood I've a locked V S5 version, nobody mention that around when TWRP failed to flash) here around to understand how to put a MM root version with TWRP on my phone, that's the final goal.
From settings I see this:
Android: 5.0
G900FXXU1BOC7
Kernel: 3.4.0-4782027 dpi@SWHD7513 #1
build: DONGCHAO.A816
Hardw version: 1.06

Here's the first main question, can I consider it a OC4? Since I can't find 0C7 support here..

I've found a post which could describe me somehow the process, could I apply this t my phone too?

flashed the PREPARE YOUR PHONE FOR ROOT from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/veri...5-ok3-t3290370
But after it finished, now i was in PB1 but still with OC4 bootloader.... something told me to redo it.... so i did.. i RE DID the above flash again!!! and once completed i was on a full PB1 with locked bootloader.
The trick for me was that i HAD TO FLASH THE PB1 FULL TAR 2X IN A ROW!
From there i did the working root method found on the same thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/veri...5-ok3-t3290370
After i gained root, i then unlocked the bootloader based on this steps http://forum.xda-developers.com/veri...oader-t3337909
After unlocking the bootloader, then i followed the instructions labeled in light blue called "Upgrade To PD1 Rom With PD1 Unlocked Bootloader From 5.0 TW Rom With PB1 Unlocked Bootloaders" (annoying a** color to see)

After which i was then on PD1 rom rooted, PD1 unlock bootloader and no more problems with wifi, capacitive buttons not responding, etc.

Will I be able after to install ANY ROM and kernel?
Thank you!

can't root SM-G900V, can't flash TWRP, can't see USB RSA. Please help!

Hi, I tried everything, from evening since now (2AM) I serached everywhere, I put all my possible efforts to load TWRP on my S5, nothing to do! You my last chance before I crash the phone..

On boot recovery Odin says SECURE CHECK FAIL: recovery.
I've USB debug turned on, but anyhow I can see the popup for RSA where I can always allow my laptop.
I've Samsung Reactivation Lock unchecked

what it reports:
CURRENT BINARY: Samsung official
SYSTEM STATUS: official
REACTIVATION LOCK (KK): OFF
SECURE DOWNLOAD: ENABLE
UDC START

Tried CWM too, old TRWP versions, nothing.

I tried any kind of root, all the applications are fakes. To root I tried CF-autoroot but it requires Odin, and odin isn't flash nothing in this phone, always an autorization fail!
