Hello I am new to XDA, I have a Samsung Galaxy S5 SM-G900V running 6.0.1, I am trying to root it but have no luck, i have searched the forums and have no clue if 6.0.1 is even rootable, I am trying to downgrade to 5.0 to follow a rooting guide but dont want to screw up and end up with a bricked device, help would very much be appreciated.

Huawei Honor 4C Update Failed (Need help)

A few days ago i got an update to my huawei honor 4c phone and since i really liked the new features i decided to download the 1.25 gb update and press install , but after that it gave me some kind of error and i did not see what it said , then it restarted. I did it like 10 times from that day but still the same thing. I need help please cause i wasted a lot of storage. Help is necessary please .
UPDATE: i noticed the error said something about Status 7.

need help getting audio working

hey guys tried booting remix os 3.0 on my acer aspire switch 10e booted fine but i cant seem to get audio working at all and seems like wifi is buggy as well is there anything i can do to make this more useable trying to get away from windows on this too buggy

Good kernels for N6? I need smooth, fast performance

I'm on Pure Nexus at the moment, latest version. I'm running elementalX, and I'm NOT satisfied with this phone. This device lags continuously, it often get very hot, and some games lag badly, like for instance Pokémon go. So, what is a good kernel that I can try to have a smooth performance without lags? Or maybe I should set elementalx in a certain way?

Need help getting Xposed to work with my Tab 4 10.1 SM-T530NU

Hello guys, I'm going to start out saying I’m a complete noob at rooting, getting custom ROMS, ect...

I just rooted my tablet for the first time using a guide from this thread here.
Now I want to be able to use Xposed on my tablet so i can use RootCloak, and various other modules. I read here that I need to made sure my ROM is deodex in order for it to work.

I guess my question is what I need to do from here to get Xposed working on my Tablet?

Need help after downgrade, no network signal. (IMEI?)

Hello guys . I have a HTC One S (ville c2) . and I had a viper ROM , but dont remember the version. so i wanted to upgrade to 4.4 and I use one carbon rom I found here. so far no problems, just bugs in the rom .
but the phone was randomly reseting , the bluetoot was not working and I didn't like it. so I wanted to go back to my old ROM and I downloaded the new Viper ROM 5.2.1 for the ville c2 . work really great. BUT now I dont have network signal on my phone, my cousin told me that it is problems with the IMEI , (i didn't know it cause troubles when you downgrade) so I coming here for help and I already reserch a little so I will let you some info of my phone .

Hope you guys can help me to solve this problem .

Do I need to buy new touchscreen for replacing battery?

Hi ,
I have gionee s5.5 mobile phone. Its battery is all dead. I went to service center and he said there is small piece of touch screen which is broken, if we open it by using machine , it might get broken , so its advisable you replace the screen as well. Now, he wants to charge for touch screen.

My touch screen works perfectly fine and I dont see a reason why should i replace it.

i want to ask experienced members here. What should i do? Thats the only way out? I should ask some more repair shops ? If some repair center can only replace my battery without replacing the whole touch screen. That should be awesome.

Need help downgrading

So i used odin to install a rom from my phone i found last night, but this marshmallow rom doesn't connect to my mobile network. I tried installing a older rom from odin, but of course it won't let me. what do i need to do to fix this?

Thinking about picking up a 2nd hand lg g2 T-Mobile phone and was wondering what you guys with this phone think of it.
