OP3 Major Failure

I will start by being blunt. I HATE this phone.
I have had two OPO's. I bought one when it came out, liked it so much that I bought another for my wife. Sure, it had its quirks, but overall a great phone! I skipped the OP2 as I felt it was an incremental step from the OPO. By the time 3 came out, 1 felt sufficiently dated and was in the market anyway; so I jumped on it. I've had it for one month now, and I can't stand it. The phone is completely stock, haven't even rooted it yet.
The POSITIVES:
  • LOVE DASH charging! Charges wicked fast.

  • Battery life is more than sufficient

  • Camera is significantly improved since OPO. Definitely "good enough" now.

Now the bad:
  • Feel without a case is AWFUL. I dropped it 5 days after owning it. I don't usually drop phones. I knew by the feel of it that I wasn't comfortable with it on day 2 and promptly ordered a case and tempered glass cover. I dropped it a day or two before it arrived. My own fault, yes, but the phone does not hold well.

  • No bezel around the screen. I'm by no means overweight, but the skin on my hand where my thumb connects to my hand registers as a touch more often than not. ANNOYING. The case resolved both of the above problems. The phone is at least usable after putting it on.

  • Calls... I had to get a new Nano SIM as the OPO is a micro. Put it in, and have had nothing but problems. I only receive an estimated 33% of the calls made to me. Outgoing calls take a LONG time to initiate (upwards of 30 secs). Also, sometimes, I cannot use the phone like normal... the person can only hear me if I'm on speaker phone with the SCREEN ON!!!! If the screen times out and turns off, they can't hear me. I am on TMO, and spent hours on the phone with support with multiple different people and they swear it is not on their end. I cannot test the Nano SIM in another phone (none of my others accept it).

  • Random calls. It randomly calls people sometimes. This seems to have subsided recently, maybe one of the updates?

  • It recently decided to start randomly rebooting. This was what put me over the edge. I was using navigation out of town heading to the airport, and it decides it wants to reboot. Well, I missed my exit and nearly missed my flight. It has since rebooted itself at least daily. Seems to be mostly when the screen is left on, as it rebooted during a phone call (on speaker with screen on).

  • Priority / Silent mode: Seems after a recent update, it decides to go on silent for no reason. I have to slide the switch up then back to normal to get it off.

  • SMS: Occasionally it doesn't register that an SMS was sent and continues to try sending; and the recipient receives sometimes DOZENS of the same message.

This is all I can think of at the moment, but I think there is something else. I cannot say it enough... I HATE this phone. Hello Nexus, here i come.

Micromax Canvas 4 major problem.

Folks,
My friend was using this phone for a long time and 1 day when the charging was around 20%, he connected the charger and had been using the mobile with Whatsapp and net also. Suddenly the phone was switched off and this was never ON again. But able to connect to PC, being recognised by SP Tools also and when trying to flash it, it give the error

BROM ERROR: S_DL_PMT_ERR_NO_SPACE(5069)

What does this exactly mean, and is there any solution for this error and request the seniors to help me in this regard.

GT-I9300T - Is there any major differences?

Hi guys, I currently have a GT-I9300T model which is originally from Vodafone AU as it has their boot screen. I am currently stuck with 4.3 as it has no updates to firmware. I want to upgrade to at least 4.4.

What I am wondering is if there is any major differences between the GT-I9300 and the GT-I9300T in terms of custom firmware compatibility and rooting? I'm incredibly new to this sort of thing. Would mine be the international version?

Lastly, if it's actually possible to upgrade my particular model, is there any reputable 4.4 ports that would work and that you would reccomend? I want to use this as a learning tool incase I ever upgrade my phone and want more customization.

Thank you for reading.

Samsung Galaxy S6 Major FRP Problem

I have a galaxy S6 with the stock 5.1.1 rom tmobile sm-g920t
There was an update for my SU and my phone restarted afterwards. While on the bootup the FRP stopped the boot.
I cannot boot the phone normally, and i also cannot enter recovery mode. The FRP stops it because it is a custom recovery.
I have tried flashing other customs and stocks, of both recoveries and roms.
Whenever i try to flash anything i get an error with a readout of......... SW REV Binary:3 Kernel:2
Please Help

[Q] Any major problems with the S5?

I have the SGS4 and the "Sim Card Removed" error is driving me bonkers. The SGS4 forum tracked it down to a certain serial number range; but I understand a subset of the SGS5 may also suffer from this.

I'm looking at phones on Swappa; hoping for an idea of things to avoid, if possible.

Thanks!

Major Battery Drain Google Services / Google Accounts / Contacts Sync

I was using a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 phone for 2 years and simply loved it how smooth everything worked and how long the battery lasted, keeping in mind that I am a heavy user.
After the 5.0.1 Update my phones battery performance went down the drain. I replaced the battery, uninstalled apps did everything I could actually with no success. I even bought a new Phone thinking that the phone's to blame.
Now I'm having the same issue with a Galaxy Note 5 and Android M installed:
- the phone gets always warm when using it
- significant battery drain with moderate to light usage (100% in half a day)
- Google Play Services using 50% of the battery capacity

But I finally managed to discover the culprit but don't know how to fix it...
From what I see there are problems with contacts syncing because it is syncing between 3 separate Google accounts (my personal, my business, and my employees accounts). I have them all 3 added to my phone and once I added them my battery on my new phone is constantly dying.

Does anyone have a suggestion how I could fix this problem?

I will also be adding screenshots after I am allowed :). Any suggestions are welcome, please don't say stop syncing contacts.... Because contacts are the heart of my business.
