Changing Kingroot with SuperSU

Dear Sir,
I have recently rooted my S4 active by Kingroot and now I want replace it with SuperSU as I always receive messages from google that warns me of kingroot: " Kingroot is harmful for your device please uninstall it." but I can't install SuperSU. please tell me how to do that.

Rooting D855/ Unlocking bootloader, without kingroot

Hi all, I'm new to android rooting, and have been consuming knowledge over the last few days like a large sponge.

I discovered that McAfee had set itself if with admin rights on my phone, and had been sending texts to international numbers without alerting me, took me a good while to find out where the extra charges from my carrier were coming from. Anyway, I cant delete it as its in the ROM, so i rooted the phone (on lollipop) and deleted it, along with some other bloatware that LG and my carrier decided I would want, and then updated the phone to marshmallow (I didn't actually realise marshmallow had been released, I don't keep in the android loop, and my phone always said the latest OS was installed - had to update it through LGs PC suite).

To my abject horror McAfee was back, I can only assume this was due to the update to marshmallow, and not because it somehow survived deletion somewhere on the phone. So now, i need to root the phone, and delete McAfee again, however I really dont want to use Kingroot to do it. Its very shifty, looking at various info on the web, what with it sending information to IPs in China and running services in the background. The other alternative, using Supersu's systemless root, requires the bootloader to be unlocked, but to unlock the bootloader, a root is required (please correct me if any of this information is incorrect, I am pretty new to the android side of things - ive only ever jailbroken iDevices before now). I think im right in saying I could unlock the boot loader if I could access fastboot, but the command 'adb reboot-bootloader' only reboots the phone, rather than booting into the bootloader.

Is there anything I can do to get around this ? Once its rooted and the bloatware deleted, Ill unroot it (I use banking apps and they wont run if the phone is rooted) so I dont want to flash any custom ROMS or anything - just get access to files on the root.

Can't flash twrp recovery.img with flashify after rooting with kingroot

I have rooted my letv le1s x507 device with kingroot after i tried to flash twrp recovery.img with flashify and rashr but nothing working.. Flashify or rashr can flash recovery without unlocking bootloader and i had flashed so many recovery with flashify or rashr without unlocking bootloader on my Micromax devices.. So please tell me how to flash twrp recovery.img without unlocking bootloader.

How do I get kingroot working on bluestacks on Mac?

I have installed bluestacks on my Mac with kingroot, luckypatcher, and fakegps via dropbox. I'm having trouble with kingroot, when I run it I get "Root strategy unavailable." I am trying to run Pokemon Go off it. I tried running it without kingroot & I get "Failed to detect location" & in the fakegps, it doesn't show the location pinpointed on the map & I can't check "Expert Mode" in the settings. Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks in advance.

Lg l90 startup problem after trying to switch from KingRoot to SuperSU

i currently have an lg g 90 (pretty old model) that is rooted with either kingroot or super su, im not sure. I originally had kingroot but used super su me to try to switch to super su. It said it was completed but kingroot was still there. I then restarted my device and it got stuck on the load up screen with the t-mobile logo. I tried restarting it many times. I then found a tutorial to factory reset my phone but now in the setup, it wont let me go past wifi. It wont even let me type in a password. I'll click next and it will take me to a blank page and back to the wifi setup. Also once this problem is resolved, would it be able to install twerp and cm13 on it? Thank You!

Is Kingroot Ghost Push Trojan?

Hello, I have the rooted s6 and how I was able to obtain it was kingroot. Recently I used "stubborn Trojan killer" app from the play store and when it scanned my phone it says there is one push Trojan found. Is it detecting Kingroot as a ghost push trojan? I'm afraid to click "remove trojan" because it won't give enough info and I think (but not sure) it's detecting Kingroot. Is it?

I'm not a developer, just a geek. I wanted to have a rooted 6.0.1. I made all the stuff to root it (in 4.4.2), added recovery, etc. Then I downloaded the 6.0.1 ftf file (stock Taiwan version), the SuperSu and DualRecovery zip files, and made a "prerooted" zip file with PRF Creator. But it doesn't work, the system reboots every time I tried to open an app.
Other method is KingRoot, but it's very intrusive, adds a lot of stuff, the "superuser" is not "normal", etc.. BUT : it's a very simple rooting way, it works on Android versions where the EasyRootTool doesn't work, it's versatile (works on almost all hardware), etc.

My question is : with such good developers in XDA, it's not possible to make a rooting app like KingRoot, but without the extra stuff, a clean one and installing the "normal" SU ?

If you already have rooted with kingroot.
Make a clone of superuser app then install both the original one and the clone.Now open the duplicate one and try to update binary.Your binary will be sucessfully updated and original superuser will be in charge of root permissions.

Black screen on boot after removing KingRoot

Hello all,

A few months ago I rooted my phone using KingRoot, because it was the only thing that I could get working. However, they added some lock screen with ads which kept on messing up after I plugged my charger in. I used Super Sume pro to remove KingRoot and it required me to reboot, but now my screen only turns black after the startup animation.
Also I can't get into recovery mode for some reason.

Hi! I've been searching far and wide for a unbrick for my stylo. I know theres a couple users with the same problem. What can i do? Does the ibowtoandroid zv8 work? Are the dll aviable. Should I send it back to lg.. should i buy the lg-firmware.com unbrick package? Any help would be greatly appreciated...

Help: Root 4.6.6 without kingroot? Downgrade?

I'm looking for a way to root a Fire Phone that runs 4.6.6, without using kingroot. It is a US unlocked phone.

I don't know where kingroot sends data, and don't want to know. I'm aware of SuperSuMe, but not confident that it can get rid of everything. Since kingroot only works online, the kingroot folks can update their software to hide from any removal that SuperSuMe attempts.

I've tried downgrading to 3.5 via adb sideload. Unfortunately, the sideload failed due to "assert failed". I edited the updater script, and the next attempt failed due to a verification error.

Is it possible to downgrade a 4.6.6 fire phone to 3.5? Can I downgrade in stages.... 4.6 to 4.1 to 3.6 to 3.5?

Are there any alternatives to kingroot?
