I have problems connecting?

To public WiFi like in Walmart I'm a able to connect to it but then I get this message on my browser when trying to search for something?

I tried turning it off and on but still have the same problem. My brothers were able to connect and browse just fine.

A6000 rom and Gapps problems

Hey folks I'm new here and I recently rooted my phone and flashed a z5 rom from the XDA rom thread. Link below

So it all went fine but now I'm incurring some problems.
Firstly I didn't notice that the Gapps is closed for updates I don't know if that affected the issue but the Google play is not working and some other Google stuff as well.

And I thought I'll flash new Gapps which are being kept up to date but my phone won't connect with the PC with the usb now so I don't know how do I flash the Gapps now.

I have re Rooted my phone using the Kingo app but it still won't reconnect.

So any help on these issues would be really helpful!

One last question that if I do find a way to flash the Gapps will I have to reflash the rom again?

Sound problems

Hello,

I have a problem with my Android Unit. After a while, the sound on the left side is loosing quality and even disappears completely. You can make a better image of the problem by watching the video from here: http://bit.ly/2aoBbqy . All the info about the unit is in the video.

Observations I've made:
- the problem is probably related to heat
- the problem only happens when playing music from youtube, soundcloud or other similar app
- when playing a CD or listening to radio there are no problems.

Anyone having problems with Pokémon Go, and if so on which ROM?

Title.

My G Watch R have problems.. :/

First, I connected dock to charge my G Watch R, It turned on screen itself. So, I turned off the screen, It turned on again itself!

Second, I don't turned on health sensor, It turned on the health sensor, and I can't turned off! So, I try to reboot and retry to use, It turned on again.

Third, My G Watch turned off itself while to charge it. I don't know and I can't fix this problem.

Fourth, Reminder can't use it. My friend said, "Reminder is use Google Search App". But I think it is not, I try to use Reminder, It said "If you want to use Reminder, Please check it in your phone", So I pushed the button And It said "Android Wear was stopped".

Fifth, Sometimes My G Watch R have Android Wear Not response issue.

What happend my G Watch R?

I think My charge dock have so many trouble issues in my G Watch R, So I try to change my charge dock.

Some problems with microusb and fast charge

Hi, i have problems with my microusb.

2 weeks ago i wanted to change my rom and root my phone. So i have unlock bootloader with guides on this forum. After this, fast charge perfectly worked.
Now, i have tried Imperium Rom, Genesys and some kernels but fast charge don't work. And when i try to connect g4 on my pc, my pc don't recognize smartphone. There is nothing, no notification, no sound on my pc. But it charges normally.

How can i test my mucrousb? Why it charge but not fast charge and no recognized from my pc?

Sprint Galaxy Note 4 Android 6.0.1 problems

Leased phone (January 2017) use for my business. Has had (3) OTA updates since April. Started having issues after 3rd update mid-June (freezes / reboots). Most times have to pull the battery to get it to boot. Have wiped & restore several times, from Settings and Recovery boot menu. Cleared App cache and partition cache. Had the local Sprint Store 'supposedly' flash the OS from a PC but nothing improved. Described these issues below but was only met with a blank stare and an offer to open my wallet to replace with a refurbished phone without knowing what is causing the issue.

On some occasions when the device is not responding it heats up. Messages of Apps that stop responding include System UI, Package Access Helper, Touchwiz and Gmail, among others.

When going to Boot recovery menu to try clearing the partition cache the Android Icon shows up with the message 'Installing system update', which it's clearly not doing. Sometimes that's followed by the icon laying down and the message 'No command'. Does this mean the update didn't properly install? Another message I've noticed once the menu comes up is 'dm-verity verification failed . . . '

Further trying to diagnose, Sprint Zone / Device Diagnostics / Flagged / System Updates - always states 'Update now', but Settings / System Update / Software update message reads 'The latest updates have already been installed (N910PVPS4DPE2 / N910PSPT4DPE2 / N910PVPS4DPE2).

Investigated alternatives with Samsung (they replied the same day, Sprint Community message July 20th still hasn't replied) I can take it to a service center to have the hardware checked for a fee but it is not nearby and I'd like to first understand what the issue is.

From what I've described does anyone know what could be causing these issues? I have read where some updates were causing problems but I've tried most of those remedies and nothing has helped yet. Perhaps the Sprint Store, in an effort to extract more money (this is how it seemed) did not or was not able to flash the OS?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

galaxy s4 charging problems after flashing new rom

Hello , I wanted to install OzcanRom v6.3 Aroma So i did.. first i change the recovery to TWRP , all fine , flashed with odin , then tried to install the rom and worked but the phone was not starting , was staking at boot so i read on the forum that the recovery is the problem , so i change it again and used CWM and worked fine , phone opened , the rom is fine all working , but i noticed that the phone is not charging fast or not charging at all same times..

My first thought was that the cable or the micro USB port is damaged .. nop.. i changed cable and charger , also changed battery with one 100% new and nothing.. the problem remain.. So i was sure that the problem is software related and make again install on the rom , I follow the process with cleaning Dalvik cache etc and many times , Also removed the battery for 10 mins and also i tried to calibrate the battery , nothing worked.. I have install on my phone one app to check the battery stats and i saw that same times , even if charger is connected the phone does not receive the proper power or receive like 50 Ma per 1 hour... sometimes if i disconnect and reconnect the cable make the problem fixed , from 50 Ma goes over 500 so the phone charges..

Also i noticed that the CPU of the phone (under the camera ) gets too hot even if i dont use the phone at all , it happens only when charging and receiving low amount of Ma.. the max Ma i have seen is like 500 Ma per hour.. still very very low and phone takes forever to charge..

Can you help me fix this problem? My guess is that the problem is the kernel.. but not sure what kernel to use with this Rom and how to install it..

Several weird problems.

Does anybody have problems with Wi-Fi( sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't, and it shows a very poor signal and not all networks are visible), Bluetooth(won't work at all) and SD and SIM cards (keep mounting and unmounting randomly)?? And also found that phone doesn't move while I'm on Waze or google maps, it is stuck only on current location, but shows the route without real navigation or moving with it(And although my GPS is on, Waze tells me there is no GPS).
I'm using Samsung Galaxy S4(GT-I9505), CM13 (pretty much all nightlies I've used have the same problem), and switched back to TouchWiz, same problems happened.
If anyone knows or heard about these problems please tell me, and is it possible to be hardware problem that has things to do with all these combined? And Thanks!

Boot image problems

Hay all. I'm kinda new at this but I'm using a galaxy j7 j700t1 with root and the cwm recovery. I've been trying to flash a custom boot animation zip using the boot animation app but I can never find the files. I fallow the paths directly but nothing shows up in the folders where the zip is supposed to be. Ive tried it through the boot animation app flashify and flashfire. Home seem to be able to find the files. Am I doing something wrong? I am still somewhat a noob at this.

HTC Desire 310 Problems

Hi Guys,

I am new to the world of android modifications and have been trying to upgrade my HTC desire 310 OS to 4.4.2 or higher. The reason for this is that PokemonGo is not supported on anything lower than 4.4.2.

After much research I have managed to install the firmware for the 320 onto my device (Comes with 4.4.2) which seems to be working fine, except that the WiFi does not work or the GPS (Strange though that after the factory reset, the WiFi worked for a couple of seconds and then disappeared).

I have seen that some people are running CM 12.1 or even 13, and have advised that this sorts out the wifi and gps issue, therefore I have been trying to flash this.

It is my understanding that I will need to follow the below steps:
1. Flash CWM
2. Unlock bootloader
3. Flash CM 12
4 Flash Gaaps

Now the problem that I am having is that when I try to sideload CMW I get the error "installation aborted apply adb sideload"
How can I get this to work?

I have also not been able to find a guide that I trust for unlocking the bootloader ( I believe this is reqiured)

Please can someone help me with this as I fear I will not be able to understand this process without some assistance.

LTE problems

Hi, after pass Soff and cm13 installed, i have problems with LTE, data is blocked and impossible to send SMS. Plane mode resolve the problem but is temporary .

I have reflash a ruu but the problem persists.

Problems to install SuperSU

Hey xda,

i have some huge problems to install SuperSU.
My original goal was to install xposed and if i'm correct, i need super su for it.

To give you some basic informations.
I have an Firephone with 4.6.6.1 on it and tried the following thing:

At point 1, i failed at Step 7.
For Point 2, Super SuMe starts but this was all, no progress.
Point 3 installed SuperSu but it won't work at all.

So i'm little bit depressed and have no idea what to do now.
I would like to keep stock firmware, but would have no problems to flash TWRP or anything like this and flash SuperSU, if It's possible.

Maybe some of you have an idea or the same problems with a solution.

Google calendar app reminders: sync problems

Reminders are non syncing properly in app and widget on Android (ok on wev).
Here's my scenario, tested on a phone and a tablet.
Add reminder in app: it shows on Web but not on app and not on widget.
Force sync in app: still nothing on app and nothing on widget.
Add normal event in app: even is added on Web and on app and on widget AND reminder now shows up also on app and on widget.
Delete reminder in app: reminder is deleted from Web but not from app and not from widget.
Delete event in app: event is deleted on Web and on app and on widget AND reminder is also deleted from app and from widget

It seems the problem is a display problem.
For example, if I modify a reminder on app, the changes appear on Web but not on app, still if I click the reminder in app it is opened with the changes made.
Also, if I delete a reminder from app, it is deleted from Web but not from app, yet if I click the reminder on app I get an error "reminder not found. As a proof: if I set a reminder it does not show in app but I get a notification when time comes!!!!!!!

I am having the same problem on S6 Edge+

On the calendar forum someone us suggesting it's only a Samsung problem.

Cam Plus Module Problems - How Should it work?!

Hey guys,

I'm on my second Cam Plus module, and I have no idea how to make it work, or what I should expect.

I've attached it to my phone, and charged it for 5+ hours. During the first two hours I didn't see any LEDs on the Cam Plus. After two hours it started flashing red to indicate charging (I think?).

I've never had it change from red flashing LED.

The Cam Plus firmware update just shows the same "Connect a Cam Plus to check for Updates" message with the module attached. The LG Friends app sees the device and lists it as connected. I've not been able to get the module to do anything, or have any buttons work in the LG Camera app. Moving the bottom switch seems to not do anything.

Am I crazy here, or is this second unit defective? Am I just doing it wrong?

[Q] Huawei GR-5 back to stock problems, can someone help?

As the title says, i am currently trying to get back stock and update it to MM build to get latest version of CM13 rom. But tried every god-damn method nothing worked. It says software install failed. Tried a lot of recoveries and ROMs which are official for GR5 aka honor 5x.

Tried recoveries:

KIW-L21 B140
KIW-L21 B130
KII-L21 B130

Tried firmwares:

Huawei_GR 5_Firmware_KII-L21_Android 6.0.1_EMUI 4.0_C636B310CUSTC636D001
Honor 5X_Firmware_KIW-L21_Android 6.0.1_EMUI 4.0_C432B330CUSTC432D001_Denmark


TWRP backups are working fine. But does not updates it to marshmallow. I think i need MM TWRP backup of it. If someone has please post it below so it will help other people as well as me.

It keeps saying software update failed. Doesn't even loads %1. And if i do this process with TWRP backup or CM installed device it still does not lets me install stock firmware.

I really don't know why it does like this since all the people can able to flash it to their devices while i cannot able to do it. I am facing this issue and it bugging me a lot.

Note: Both of the KIW-L21 and KII-L21 same model since 5.1.1 works both. Yet still does not lets me update the ROM to 6.0.1. so i think i need a MM TWRP backup if possible.

Z5C Camera problems

When I open the camera on my phone, it works fine. The front camera is fine, the back camera is fine.

However when using Messenger, Whatsapp, or any other camera application, there are green lines accross the screen and it is very slow and sluggish?

Tried using Xperia Companion to repair software, still the same.

Tried using Lollipop, still the same.

Running stock rom, currently on 6.0.1 MM. If anyone has got any ideas, could they please help me out. Thanks

Netflix and Vevo display problems

Hello friends, i have just bough a firetv2 and i am having some problems with Neflix (displays with a lot of artifacts) and vevo (does not display at all). See attached images for clarity on my problem. the rest of the apps i have tried so far work well. and in the case of netflix, once i pick a stream, it displays as it should, the problem is in the menu section
I'm on 5.0.5.1 with updates disabled and not rooted. i will root when i get a cable, and then i will install TWRP and the latest prerooted rom

any idea on what i could try? i already deinstalled netflix and reinstalled, changed the firetv resolution, rebooted firetv
