I just got one of these recently just to use as an Mp3 player and fitness tracker mainly. I know it is a riduclous device cos of its size but it works ok although the android build is pretty bad. Just wondering if anyone owns one or is interested in making a rom for it?

Reckon it could be quite a neat device with some tweaks.

There is an app called "Ringwin" it is an app that gives you points for your call that you get, ı want to do some tricks, say whatevet do you want ı want to gain more, with less effort.

My phone is rooted so a am open for all your advices, ı want an app or xposed module that can make fake call to me, fake call apps on the Play Store are mostly visual for pranks.

Here is methods that ı tried;
- Free Call Services on web
- Fake Call Apps on Play Store
- Calling myself from my family's phone

Doesn't work;
- Free Call Services mostly not free, limited and not working nad ı should sign up every 5min
- They are visual, like an photo, just for prank or ı couldn't find the right one
- It is expensive

yesterday I installed the update for Android 6 and EMUI 4.
Sadly I lost the background I was using, I believe it was one of the default ones from EMUI 3.
It's the blue one you find on most pictures when you type Honor 6 in google images. (I am not allow to post outside links yet, so I can't upload the picture, sorry)

So, does anyone know where I can download it again? :(

To give you an idea , im currently running on stock 4.1.2 Jellybean with stock recovery with root access (via Framaroot apk) , a few months ago i used to run CM 10.1 with Philz Touch but then reverted back to stock

Recently i have looked up tutorials on here and on youtube and there seems to be so many factors when it comes to getting the right files or using the right method (partitionining with a partition file - installing a custom ISOREC-compatible kernel and special TWRP version - its all so confusing compared to what i did in the past ( using the default CM windows installer )

Talking about CM - it actually didnt give me the option for my carrier as im from the UK and i think it installed the US version

Any trusted and reliable guide would be much appreciated because i see so many different things online that it confuses the s*** out of me :laugh:

Hey xda!!!!, Longtime user here but I've been inactive for a while here, I left the modding and rom scene for quite some time since I switched from my galaxy s3(LOVED THAT PHONE). Sorry.. I'm currently looking to upgrade my already.. aging..... asus zenfone2 >_< bought it only 6 months ago and already fed up with it, and looking for a change. I've been browsing around a bit and am having a lot of trouble deciding on a worthy upgrade without too many compromises, and figured.. hey.. the users at xda might have some worthy opinions so I'm here now :D. Anywho my price range is anywhere from 150$ to 350$ sum odd if its well worth it longterm. I'm a modder and rom head at heart and always loved that custom option for the sake of it... don't we all? I'm not a heavy user.. mostly casual use day to day.

Must haves:
-Finger print sensor
-micro sd storage (ofcourse)
-Heavily! rom supported here on xda or timely google upgrades
-Nfc (Duh.)
-Quick charging (not huge but would be nice, Pokemon go?)
-Good battery life, again.. Pokemon go?
-Good camera/screen ect.

So I decided to root my phone ...I used the latest Windroid toolkit ..now I was able to unlock the boot loader and install/flash TWRP. here is my issue when I click on the Flash SuperSU button I get this error "wrong device state ! please ensure that your device is in Android! any help on how to finish flashing it would be appreciated.

Looking for Lollipop for Irulu X7 tablet.....

I want to run a newer firmware on my kids android Irulu X7 tablets with the sole purpose of being able to run the playstation vue app on them. They run kitkat 4.4.4 right now. I have an HTC One M8 that was rooted and running 4.4.2 and then I unrooted and did the RUU update to Marshmallow 6.0 so I am a little familiar with bootloader and rooting, etc., but by no means an expert. I do have some sdk/adb software on my computer that I was using with the HTC. So once again my goal is either get Playstation Vue running as is on their tablets or update firmware to get it running. Playstation says that the Vue app supports 4.4 and up, but tech couldn't solve my problem. I solved it for my phone, but their tablets don't have as much info. The app just says device isn't supported right now. I mention Lollipop because my wife's moto x is running that and the app works on her's.

Let me know any additional info you need and I'll get it.

I'm looking for a Lollipop rom without emui, but I need help with something!

I unlocked my bootloader and converted my Consumer Cellular variant over to the official OEM version and installed the MT2-L03C00B322 update from Huawei website. I absolutely hate EMUI. I hate how the status bar isn't translucent with apps, I don't like the setup of EMUI, I don't like how the notifications are, etc etc. I want just a strictly lollipop ROM, so would PAC Rom be it? Also, can I install twrp to install custom Roms after I did the consumer Cellular conversion to OEM? I had to install twrp for the first part of the conversion and once I did the update it automatically removes twrp and puts the stock recovery back on. I'm pretty fond of flashing, rooting, and more, I've done it with countless devices, but never a Huawei, and I just want to make sure I can do it before I mess something up on this phone. If not, I guess I will go back to my Sony Xperia C4 (which by the way, claims to have a 13MP camera, but the camera is blurry and sucks like none other HAHA)

And that is all I can think of. I tried to OneClickRoot or whatever it is but it says my device is not supported. I tried to follow some Youtube Videos, but the all lead to "Do my survey, my links are legit, I promise" stuff so... I got no where.

Can anyone help lead me in the direction to getting my device rooted?

Also I see a lot about TWRP? Anyone willing to elaborate on what that is or if its something I want?

Tempered glass, screen protector or neither? Looking for advice.

I've just upgraded from my first Android, a chunky and sturdy Samsung Mini 2, to Zuk Z1. Needless to say, I'm super-hyper-worried to scratch its screen. Tbh I don't like the cons of using a protection (less responsive touch? more oily screen?), but from what I've read it's not clear whether Zuk Z1 has Gorilla Glass. Although I'm a careful person, would you advise I buy a protection? If so should I choose a normal screen protector or tempered glass? Thanks in advance (:
