Backup TA if already upgraded to Marshmallow

Hello,

I have been reading the XDA forums for a while now, but it is until now that I have a question that I can't find an answer to.

I want to backup my TA, however I see that in order to do that I need to root.

I found that in order to root I need to unlock the BL, thus losing the DRM keys which is the reason why I want to back up.

What do you recommend? I don't want to lose my data on the phone, is there any way to downgrade to a firmware that can be rooted without unlocking BL without losing my data?

Or, is there a way to backup TA without rooting?

Thanks for your help!

How can I install google play on my already rooted device?

I have already rooted my device with kingroot and have tested it. Now is there a way to install google play?
My version is 4.5.5.1.

I have seen other threads with tutorials on how to get google play but all include using a program that also roots the device. I've already rooted and since im a noob I dont know if using a rooting program again will damage my device.

Thank you

New T-Mobile 10 unlocked already?

I decided to give the HTC 10 a try and picked it up from T-Mobile's website, I had no intentions to unlock it but decided to click on the "device unlock" T-Mobile software included in the phone and to my surprise the app stated that the device is already permanently unlocked.

I clicked on "history" in the menus and there's at least 8 unsuccessful tries to unlock the phone until 6-15 when device was successfully unlocked.

Is this normal? Is T-Mobile shipping this device unlocked? My phone was brand new Factory sealed and it did appear to be a used one bit.
