Note 4 eMMC

So I had been having software issues with my note 4 and it all makes sense now never had problems flashing etc, even trying to get the stock rom or the system partitions corrupting on their own well my note 4 finally died last night I kept trying to boot it and it wouldnt do squat but boot up to the Samsung galaxy note 4 logo before this happened if i tried going into recovery it wouldnt work, download mode didnt work it would say could not do normal boot ddi mmc read fail, so I have a completely bricked emmc on my tmobile note 4 anyways,

does anyone know where i can get an emmc chip for it? i found a kmr 210008m a805 emmc but it says its for the note 4 sm n910p/f it says it has firmware preinstalled on it would it work if i installed it on mine and flashed tmobile stock rom? would i have to reflash the pit and kernel?
this is what i found btw http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Brand...08.4.13.e3rrhA

Need someone to do a full eMMc backup

I managed to hard-bricked my Nexus 6P and now my phone won't turn on at all. I already tried everything to make sure it's not a soft-brick so that doesn't have to be asked.

I found this article: wwwDOTdroidsavvyDOTcom/unbrick-qualcomm-mobiles/ (unfortunately I can't post links so please replace the DOT with .) stating that I can unbrick it by using some tools. Unfortunately I need a full eMMc backup from someone with a factory-resetted Nexus 6p.

I wanted to ask if someone can do this huge favor and upload a backup of their eMMc somewhere. I would be very thankful for that!

To do so, it has to be a rooted factory-resetted Nexus 6P (although you can try without a factory-reset). These commands have to be entered:

Code:

adb shell
su
dd if=/dev/block/mmcblk0 of=/storage/emulated/0/backup.img bs=512 count=30535646

and then the file has to be uploaded somewhere.

I would very appreciate it if someone does this or suggests something different. Thanks in advance!

Rant - Two Note 4's Two failed eMMC

I now have two paperweights in the form of Note 4's. My second Note 4, which I bought used on Swappa, died the same way as my original one, failed eMMC! I'm now using my trusty Note 2 but it's obvious not quite the same as the Note 4. Since I have six months left on my contract with Sprint, am I crazy to get a third Note 4 to tide me over until I can get a Note 7?

Corrupted eMMC?

I'm trying everything on my XT1068 to let it boot again, since is stucked in bootloop.
Now I think the eMMC is corrupted. Is there any test to admit or exclude it?

ZTE v987 cannot mount /system etc. possible eMMC damage

Hello,
I got stuck and I need some help.
The phone is ZTE v987. There was bgcngm's ROM V4.0B0MOD inside.
I pulled-out-&-pushed-in the battery and after boot there was a prompt that my data needed to be erased. (I'm not excatly sure what it was). I freaked out. Turned off and boot into recovery mode (vol up + power). Performed factory reset and tried to restore backup. It didn't work. I got messages:

Quote:

Can't mount /system!
Can't mount /data!
Can't mount /cache!

So I tried to format all of the above. Then I tried to restore individually /system, /data, /cache. All the same.
When I enter the Recovery I get errors like here:

Quote:

E: Can't mount /cache/recovery/command
E: Can't mount /cache/recovery/log
E: Can't open /cache/recovery/log
E: Can't mount /cache/recovery/last_log
E: Can't open /cache/recovery/last_log

There are mentioned some apps like Heimdall but I couldn't find a version for my device and I'm not exactly sure what I should do.
What's more, I found info about eMMC damage and followed the link to check if my eMMC was good or bad.
I typed the command and the output was empty:

Quote:

adb shell
~ # dmesg | grep mmc0
dmesg | grep mmc0
~ #

I read somewhere it's possible that I don't have grep installed (maybe because I wiped the data).
So I tried another command to list the eMMC-chip partition info:

Quote:

~ # fdisk -l /dev/block/mmcblk0
fdisk -l /dev/block/mmcblk0
Warning: ignoring extra data in partition table 5

I also tried to mount /system and /data in adb but it failed:

Quote:

~ # mount /system
mount /system
mount: mounting /emmc@android on /system failed: Invalid argument
~ # mount /data
mount /data
mount: mounting /emmc@usrdata on /data failed: Invalid argument

I've also downloaded the ROM and tried to install from SD.
First stepSecond step - smooth and dandyFlashing bootInstallation complete - yeah, sure

I've saved the log and here are bottom lines:

Quote:

Also I've got recovery.log but it's a long one and can paste here if it is needed.

I didn't try to flash trough SP Flash Tool anything because I didn't want to make things worse.
That's all the info I could gather. I don't know if it is helpful at all but I've run out of clues.
I'd be very grateful for any help.

PS. Right now I'm not able to charge the battery. For one second the red light blinks and then the screen with battery with red strip at the bottom appears and I don't believe it's charging.

LeTv x600 raw emmc rom

Hi All,
I have bricked my phone. When I tried to flash new rom, I have wiped internal memory and have no access to rom to install from. Phone is not recognized under windows as mass storage, fastboot doesnt work, OTG does not work. I was told only way is to flash emmc directly, but to do that technician need RAW eMMC ROM in BIN format. This can be done via ADB.

I bought this phone from Hong-Kong so it is probably Chaise hardware (every thing on the box is in Chinese) Can someone make this dump and share it?
I will be very grateful.
