Light speaker distortion

Hi all,

I have the P9 since a few days. I've noticed a quite light distortion (a little 'crank') but only with a particular sound, that one that sounds when you click on the microphone button to enable voice recognition, for example on google now or play store. When I press that microphone button, sometimes it starts with a very very short and light 'crank' (I don't know how to call it). It doesn't happen always, only sometimes.
Has anyone noticed?

Low in call speaker volume

Anyone else having problems with in call speaker volume? I can barely hear the other person and this being my work phone, it's.. well, disturbing. I'm currently on dirty unicorns with squid kernel 1.6g, though the problem has been there prior to this also. Any ideas?

Bottom speaker after water

Hi

My sony z3 bottom speaker is on a lower volume as the upper one.
I searched it on xda and google, and i found it's normal.
Then my friend Z3 is the same..

Today (3hrs ago) i put in water my Z3. After a couple of minutes, the upper speaker back to normal,
but the bottom one is more lower, extremly lower now.

Will it back to normal, or it is broken?

Nexus 6 speaker issue

Ok guys so I am having some terrible speaker issues on my nexus 6. Unlike the usual volume dropping at low battery, my nexus 6's speaker sounds like its at 20% even at full battery. My volume is 100% in sounds for everything (media, ringtone, alarms and notifications) but whenever I play anything via my speaker in play music, youtube, mx player etc, my phone will be fully charged but the sound from the speakers will be only 20% instead of the 100%.
Currently I am running the stock 6.0.1 unrooted. And yes I have already reflashed the stock rom twice already. I even rooted my phone again, and tried to manually boost the speakers via file and by editing the speaker file, but that also didn't help.
Any help would be appreciated guys.

Audio only from top speaker

Hi, I've been using a galaxy s6 but wanted to try the Nexus 6 since has stock Android and bigger screen. But... audio like You Tube, Play movies, Music, everything comes from top speaker grill, not both, I thought this phone has stereo speakers. Is it like that by default or would I have to replace the bottom speaker? Also I can't get text messages notification, always quiet no matter which sound I choose. I get phone ringtones and media but not messages tone. I'm stock right now but was doing same thing with PureNexus rom. Thanks.

speaker and led not working

hi all, i have a spring samsung s3, it recently had some water damage but not full blown submerged in water. it still turns on and all buttons and functions work fine. however the speaker seems to be blown, i can hear a hiss noise from it and when i do the service menu quick test, no sounds comes out nor does the LED notification light up. pushing volume up and down buttons still work.
anyone have any idea if it may be the audio chip damaged or some sort of flex cable? i'm hoping its a part I can order and replace myself. I have opened up the phone and know how to take pieces/cables a part (aside from chips on the motherboard... may have to pass on that)

Oneplus 3 Pop sound from speaker

Hi!

Anyone else get a popping sound from speaker when fast dialing someone through dialer? Its a Short pop when i have pressed the name of the person and the phone goes to dial mode.

Edit: Seems to be when the speaker turns on but is Most noticable when dialing someone. Is this normal?

Speaker phone problem

Hi guys i have a n920i note 5.

I installed the extreme debloated rom and kernel and there has been no problems except for one. When on a call if i put loud speaker/speaker phone on the other person can no longer hear me. If i hit the switch to turn it off it doesnt do anything and ilthey still cant hear me. I can always here th and they can hear me if i stay on a normal call

Replace Earpiece/ Internal Speaker

Hi everyone,
due to my brick today I was forced to open my device, so my warranty is now void.
Now it's time to do things on my own.
Is there a way to replace the internal speaker/ earpiece.
The spare parts are sold via Aliexpress but is it possible to change it?
Would be perfect if someone has an idea!

Original shield tablet - Recent update has killed my right speaker?

Hi

I have the original shield tablet running 6.0.1 build number MRA58K.40827_726.6502 software version 4.2(24.3.68.8). I recently updated the software and for some reason the right (or bottom) speaker no longer works (headphones work tho). This tablet is like new, pristine condition and was sent out as a replacement as the old one was a fire hazard, so a bit gutted. I noticed in the recent change list there was something about sound, so I am hoping its software related. Any ideas if its possible for me to roll back the software without having to wipe the tablet? Thanks

S7 speaker problem

I recently purchased an s7, and it was all good. However, recently while watching YouTube and listening to music on Spotify the speaker will suddenly cut out. I ran the diagnostoc tool to check the speakers and everything is working just fine, however the problem is still there. I wiped the phone and reset but no change. Any other ideas???

Possibility Of Adding A 2nd Nexus 5 Speaker?

Just received my 32Gb Nexus 5 in the mail the other day and realized that the right speaker on the bottom doesn't work. I did some research (thinking it must be a broken speaker) and found that the Nexus 5 only has one speaker for audio on the left side.... Nice.

Back in April I had another nexus 5 (16Gb) that ended up issues with the power button so it bootloops at the google logo but all the other parts work so I have a spare speaker.

Would it be possible to use the speaker from the broken Nexus 5 that I disassembled and some how patch it into the other Nexus 5's speaker and have 2 working speakers?

Just thought it's an interesting idea/possibility.

Speaker Volume lowering issue and no wireless charging

Hi all,

I got a new Nexus 6 from eBay today delivered to find out it had a few issues.

Firstly it was supposed to be new and in fact it is not (was rooted already) anyhow.

I managed to get the stock rom onto it and remove root and get it up to the most recent OTA build.

I noticed when listening to music the volume is loud at the start and reduces by around 50% or more.

So that was the first issue and now the second.

I have been using my nexus 7 with the same generic qi charging pad and also my S4 with Wireless S Cover without any issues but the Nexus 6 does even register on it, no matter how I place it.

I know people have had the above issues but I cannot find a fix and are these issues hardware or software ?

Speaker booster

Is there a way to boost the watch speaker? I've all the volume options and call volume all the way up but it still sounds a bit low to me. Is there an app to boost the speaker volume?

Saw a dual thread speaker thread, but I'll build was missing. Anyone figure out the adjustments needed? Have gotten exposed, lp working, audio mode by Devine beats 7.0 with the dd+ add on to work. Have to have se Linux changer to enable permissive. Anyone who hasn't gotten to work, noticed in flashfire when you run zip if you unchecked mount read/write in last option it won't stick. But with it enabled to mount system read/write sticks and no problems. Black player music aPk on same thread works also. Just noto eq engine. Marshmallow SD fix in exposed will fix write access to SD card.

Anyone else notice improved camera and speaker performance with 3.2 update?

My camera takes much better pictures and seems to focus faster after the update. The speakers sound noticeably better too. I know all the hype was around the ram and srgb mode but not much has been said about the camera and speakers. Anyone else notice these improvements?

speaker crackle

My speaker crackles when I play games and play music at full blast. I contacted OP support and the helped me wipe cache........ Didn't work. They next said to factory reset. I haven't tried that but will that fix it? Does that seem accurate?
