Setting DFX Player Pro as a music default application

I would like to set DFX Player Pro as my music default player on my LG G2 smartphone running os 5.0.2.
Can it be done? How?

Xperia z2 Battery and application issue

i bought this phone 2nd hand in online. i notice that when i charge it, it jumps from 90% to 100%(sometimes 95% to 100%). Also i charged it for the one night(100%). the next day i unplug it and took a bath(10 minutes). when i came back. the battery is 95%. and the screen on time is on the photo(12pm to 6pm). Another problem is why cant i install apps such as antutu, cpuz and other benchmark apps? it always says "a package is deleted due to somc policy" btw my phone is lollipop 5.1.1. i've already flash the same stock rom. but still same problem. please help me :confused::confused:

Bill Reminder application recommendation

Hey guys
I used billminder for years and years on IOS and I was happy to see that it was also available on android. I installed but unable to login to pull all my info into application. Seems it hasn't been updated since 2013 and no longer supported. I am looking for an application to keep track of bills and provide charts overtime. Anyone know of an application that runs on both android and ios for bill reminding?

How Can Get the actual Pre Shared Key to Application instead of “*” in Android

I am trying to access the pre shered key to my application using WifiConfiguration class provided by Android. The "AccessPoint..getConfig().preSharedKey" returns only "*" if key is present and null if the key is absent.I need the actual the pre shared key. How do i obtain it ?
Is there any other method that I can use to get the key ?(Can I modify WifiConfiguration class?)

I'm so used to having iMessage which doesn't compress your pictures when you send them or receive them, but it looks like the stock message app on this phone or on the android 6 compresses your pictures? Please let me know what to do to allow uncompressed picture to send and receive on the stock message app.

/data/app/ same application more times - consumes space

Hello all, I searched why I have still low space in my phone (S4 GT-I9505, Omega ROM 42.1), used terminal emulator + 'du -sh' command, and found out that in /data/app/ I have some applications more times, particularly com.android.chrome-.. I have there 29x (chome-1 ... chrome-29), each of these directories consumes approx. 60MB, even though I don't use chome at all

Can I remove these directories?

Sorry if I ask in wrong forum, but I have found many useful hints there already.

illico application crashes when xPosed is active

Hi,

Sorry if this has been reported before or if it is a known issue, my basic search did not come up with a hit.

I've been using Xposed for few years now without any issues, except with this one App.

I test the app before activating Xposed, and it works fine
I tested it after rooting, and it still works fine.
Only after activating Xposed that it crashes when playing media, the app works fine, but it crashes anytime I try to play media.

Here's the Xposed log if it gives any clues to what the issue might be.

Problem dismissing notifications from messaging application

I'm developing some modifications to a existing messaging applications in order to make it compatible with Android Auto.

Everything works fine, notifications are shown and spoken, replied, etc. But there is no way of canceling (removing) the notifications from the head unit.

Searching the internet I've only found a (unanswered) question about this issue:

Questions:

• Maybe it is related to me using the DHU simulator head unit? I have also tried the old auto messaging simulator with the same result.


• Is there any other simulator available that I can run in a separate Android / PC to test this behavior?


• Perhaps it is an intended behavior... It happens also to other apps like Whatsapp in the simulator. Does it happen in real head units?

Please, forgive me if this is not the correct forum, I've trying to find the most adequate but none seems perfect :(

Can anyone recommend a AMOLED inky black themed Note application?

I'm looking for pure glorious black with either white/green text. Just something simple to take notes with. At this point I've run through a mindbogglingly amount of Notes applications on Play/F-Droid and I've hit Dark themes but none with AMOLED black.

"Camera is being used by another application"

Hi, im having this issue when i press the camera button or launch launch the app is says that it is being used by another app. Has anyone experienced the same issue? I tried factory, reset reinstalling my rom(im on stock rooted rom locked bootloader). Other camera apps work just as they should. It started doing it suddenly, i didnt flash, or change anything. For this purpose, I want to intercept the request call for permission from android application before the system performs its standard permission verification process.
