Help in downgrading my Honor 6 from Android M to L.
Hi there, I'm new here so bear with me if I make any mistakes. So I have installed OTA Marshmallow update on my Honor 6 few days back. Now it only works when it's connected to a power source. When I remove the charger, I can just make calls, if I try to open anything, the phone just shuts down and doesn't power on unless connected to charger.
I want to downgrade to previous version Lollipop. Any guide on how to do it?
Specs:
Honor 6 H60- L04
Build: H60- L04C675B831
Android Version: 6.0
EMUI 4.0
Thanks for any help.

Help downgrading from 5.1.1 to 4.4.4
A few days ago I bought a note 4 with 5.1.1 installed. I followed the guide and unlocked the bootloader and rooted. I have been reading for the past few days since I got the phone and could not find a definite answer. What I really want is 4.4.4 with stock kernel and root.

Downgrading from Marshmallow to Lolipop
Right now I have the LG G4 (H812) from Fido. Absolutely love the phone, but was extremely disappointed in finding out there was no root method that worked with Marshmallow.
CyanogenMod has been my go to since 2013. Needless to say, I'm on a mission to have it running on my G4. It looks like the only way to do so is downgrading to Lollipop.
Any advice?

Help with downgrading to android 4.4.4 on SM-G900V?
To start out, I will say that I am not the best with this kind of stuff and do not know THAT much about rooting/flashing ROMs and what not. I have read many posts about how to go about doing this and here is what I tried. I downloaded Odin 3.11.1 and the most recent Android 4.4.4 version (USA) from SamMobile. I turned my phone off and put it into download mode. After this, I started Odin, and pressed VOL up on my device to continue. Odin said "Added". I selected the file to flash in the AP section (G900VVRU1ANK2_G900VVZW1ANK2_G900VVRU1ANK2_HOME.ta r.md5) and hit start. This is what came up in Odin:
<ID:0/006> Added!!
<OSM> Enter CS for MD5..
<OSM> Check MD5.. Do not unplug the cable..
<OSM> Please wait..
<OSM> Checking MD5 finished Sucessfully..
<OSM> Leave CS..

<ID:0/006> Get PIT for mapping..
<ID:0/006> Firmware update start..
<ID:0/006> SingleDownload.
<ID:0/006> aboot.mbn
<ID:0/006> NAND Write Start!!
<ID:0/006> FAIL! (Auth)
<ID:0/006>
<ID:0/006> Complete(Write) operation failed.
<OSM> All threads completed. (succeed 0 / failed 1)
I have tried this many times with all the USB slots on my PC and with 3 different cords. I have also tried different versions of Odin. I'm not sure if any of that would change anything, like I said, I do not really know what I am doing. Am I doing something wrong here? Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks, Hunter.

Downgrading to a stable version
Hello!
I have been using Cyanogenmod 12.1 and 13 as my daily drivers. While I deeply appreciate the work that has been put into it, it never reached the "stable and fast enough" state for me, and the instability and bugs (GPS fix, crashes) have not become better over time in my opinion.
So I would like to downgrade to a stable version that compromises well between reliability and still is recent enough, app permission management is important to me.
I have read threads like these, and KitKat 4.4.4 looks viable:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/gala...lease-t3419543
http://forum.xda-developers.com/gala...t-rom-t3403207
The recommendation seems to be Slimsaber 4.4.4 by Fusionjack with DorimanX kernel. What do you guys think, is that a good choice for me? Maybe another Lollipop or Marshmallow version instead?
A few questions on how I should go about it:
Thanks a lot in advance!

- Is my 1 GB repit fine or should I lower it again to 512 MB?
- I have IsoRec-TWRP-2.8.7.0-20160113 installed, can I use that or should I flash another version first?
- Anything else that I am missing for downgrading that is not mentioned in the installation instructions?
Thanks a lot in advance!

Can anyone help me with downgrading my Z3 Compact from Marshmallow to Lollipop?
I really want to get Lollipop back on my z3 compact, the Marshmallow update removed Stamina mode and Ultra Stamina mode which ruined the phone a bit for me. The battery lasts way less on a typical day and I've got an 11 day trekking holiday coming up that I really want to have ultra stamina mode for.
I know officially Sony doesn't want you to downgrade but that you can apparently do it with flashtool. To be honest I don't quite have enough tech know how to make it happen and I wouldn't normally try but I can follow instructions.
Can someone tell me if these instructions will let me downgrade to Lollipop from Marshmallow?
(as a new member apparently I can't post links but this just needs a http on the beginning) howto.highonandroid.com/sony-tutorials/how-to-update-sony-xperia-z3-compact-d5803-to-official-android-5-1-1-lollipop-firmware-23-4-a-0-546/3/
A friend of mine thinks following them'll be fine but it's bugging me that the advice is for updating to Lollipop rather than downgrading to it. If those are the right instructions that's great but I still need a little help.
I've tried to follow them already, my phone's backed up and I've downloaded the software, drivers and the right firmware but as soon as I started up the flashtool program and put the USB in my phone flashtool gives me a message saying: "Error: cannot sync devices github.com/Androxyne/devices.git: Cannot open git upload pack". I tried to look it up but the only advice I can find to do with that error message is to reinstall flashtool and to make an exception in my firewall and neither of those solutions helped.
Thanks in advance for any advice you can give.

Downgrading from 47A to 10B, LG Flash Tool stops at 4%
Just got a refurb g3 off of amazon with 47a installed. I'm following this guide to download and after that I was going to use this method to finish the root.
Everything seems to be setup correctly, but after "Verifying phone connection..." the flash tool gets to 4% and then goes to this screen
Nothing happens on the phone when it is in download mode, just stays at 0%.
Any help on the issue would be appreciated.

Bricked mi4i by downgrading install update package in updater, please help me
My friend told me to downgrade his mi4i but he dont wanted to root or unlock bootloader,so I had downgraded my friends mi4i from v7.3.1.0 to v7.0.3.0 using the update package, I had flashed it from updater, but due to which it got soft brick issue, but now I really got tortured . The phone is starting but showing error message "setting is unfortunately closed" again and again , only notification panel is working and power menu. wifi is not working, I had tried to get into the updater back by closing error message again and again and fast so that I can update back to latest version but internet is not working even wifi is not starting up as I told, Even phone is not connecting to computer on usb debugging mode and mtp mode, due to which its not connecting to mi pcsuite. Even I cant recover it back from mi pcsuite. Last option to unbrick the phone was to install fastboot rom, so I downloaded the global fastboot rom v6.5.6.0 and I have Windows 10 32bit so I downloaded miphone2015731, then extract the rom on E drive and paste its link on miphone "the link dont have space in between" and had choosed flash all, then connect his phone on fastboot mode to computer, then refresh the miphone, then phone appears on miphone, but when I flash it, it starts the flashing process but no progress is giving not even 1%, then I disconnect he phone, I had used the given mi usb cable, as I told the bootloader of phone is locked, please help me if you know what to do now, I am really tried a lot to fix the phone and now dont know what to do :crying: , when I check the changelog its showing this :-

No signal i9500 after downgrading to 4.4.2 [i dont know which modem should i flash]
Soory if it sounds dumbish, im from romania, carrier - orange. I flashed some stock firmware MBC-Germany or so, if it counts, that's the one i used to flash all the time since romania was not withing those firmwares.
