mod for stereo speakers on Moto X?

Is it possible to enable stereo speakers on the Moto X?
(Back speaker + front speaker)
LG G2, Nexus 5 and others devices have a mod for stereo, but Moto X?

2: ROM for good performance in GPU and battery? (without overclock/underclock)

Static coming from speakers even when muted

When playing a game with the speakers muted i get a static noise coming from both speakers, is this a fault? it just wastes battery having the speakers on when i have them muted playing an annoying crackling sound. They stop as soon as headphones are in.
