Group Messaging Option Gone

I've tried the following but I cannot get group Messaging Option (checkbox within stock messaging app) to stick: removing apps, reseting default, format cache, format data, flash back to stock, and odin. The best result occur immediately after flashing via odin but shortly after, the option disappears again.

Any ideas?

Any confirmation that this proble/option persist on custom roms?

MMS in the Stock Text Messaging App on AL10

So I have the AL10 version and normally I use Hangouts as my messaging app. But I noticed over the weekend, it wouldn't send a picture to a friend. So I went into the stock text messaging app and I can't find any way to send or attach a picture. Am I missing something? Will I not be able to MMS any pictures on this phone? :confused:

Multiple Messaging Notifications

Android Marshmallow Default Messaging App Issue

Don't know what happened but I cant send MMS from default android messenger. The moment I hit the paperclip icon, the app crashes. It's stuck on the send voice option.

Lag in Dialer, Messaging, and Contacts Apps

Hi folks,

Apologies if someone has answered this before, but I can't seem to find any info about it relating to our S6. The problem is that my Dialer, Messaging, and Contacts apps each lags about 4-5 when starting up, whether the phone has been on for a while or after reboot. I'm on stock rooted 5.0.2. I've frozen or uninstalled lots of stock apps, and turned off receivers for a bunch more in autorun manager. Would someone mind posting a list of apps necessary for the dialer et al to work properly, so that I can try restoring them before reinstalling my rom?

AT&T Video Calling and Advanced Messaging?

Does anyone know if AT&T video calling and advanced messaging work on the HTC 10? You can enable video calling and advanced messaging by changing the following lines in /system/customize/MNSProp/311180.prop:
persist.radio.VT_ENABLE=1
persist.rcs.supported=1
persist.radio.VT_HYBRID_ENABLE=1


I don't know anyone with an Android phone on AT&T which supports video calling or advanced messaging so I haven't been able to test if they actually work. If you would like to help me out please PM me.

Samsung Dialer & Messaging on Oneplus 3

Ok everyone, 1st time poster here hoping for help (without being beaten up about my question).

I have moved from Samsung Galaxy Note 4 to One Plus 3. The phone is great, BUT I really really miss two items from my Note 4

1. The Samsung Dialer - It has Video Chat to other Samsung users built in, the Google phone app seems a little "sparse" to me (just my opinion)


2. Messaging App by Samsung - It shows when other samsung users are typing and gives status such as "read" once a message is read.

Is there anyway I can get these two items Phone & Messaging onto the Oneplus 3 phone as my primary apps?

Problem dismissing notifications from messaging application

I'm developing some modifications to a existing messaging applications in order to make it compatible with Android Auto.

Everything works fine, notifications are shown and spoken, replied, etc. But there is no way of canceling (removing) the notifications from the head unit.

Searching the internet I've only found a (unanswered) question about this issue:

Questions:

• Maybe it is related to me using the DHU simulator head unit? I have also tried the old auto messaging simulator with the same result.


• Is there any other simulator available that I can run in a separate Android / PC to test this behavior?


• Perhaps it is an intended behavior... It happens also to other apps like Whatsapp in the simulator. Does it happen in real head units?

Please, forgive me if this is not the correct forum, I've trying to find the most adequate but none seems perfect :(

Messaging Icon Disappears

Hello, yesterday my wife was changing themes on her P8 with EMUI 4.0, then she notice the messages icon has disappear and we can't find the icon anywhere. She only can view or send sms when she receive one, because we cannot find the application anywhere or even make a shortcut.
There's anyway to solve this? Probably i'll make a backup and make a factory reset.
