How to install stock settings on Android 5.1?

I have Uninstalled settings and I'm unable to install the settings apk.
I have lucky patcher and titanium backup if that helps.
Also I'm unable to use USB debugging or install apps that aren't on the play store.

If you wonder why did I uninstall the settings is because on my device settings app contains malware (In the stock rom without needing to do anything).
Model is "Archos 55 platinum" if helps.

just got stock marshmallow Verizon S5? what to do with it?

It's been awhile since I messed with any custom roms or anything but I hate all the Samsung stuff all over this S5 I recently acquired. Its running 6.0.1 stock verizon. I'm a little overwhelmed by these forms if someone could point me in the right direction thanks. At the very least I would like to remove these useless Samsung/verizon apps that wont let me but ideally I would remove TouchWiz and get closer to vanilla Android be it a custom rom or what have you. Or any other recommendations, thanks.

Stock recovery zenfone 2 laser ze551kl

Has someone backup the stock recovery for the zenfone ze551kl marshmallow? I flash twrp and then i have upgrade to marshmallow [emoji26] [emoji25] , my mistake. I have forget to backup the recovery and i would like to get it for security in case that my phone could have problems. Thank you

GPS not working when following a route - Stock HTC 10 Android 6.0.1

I really hope I'm not the only one with this issue. The HTC 10 cannot use the GPS when it's in navigation mode.

It works great when I open Google Map, it spots me and knows my orientation, but as soon as I search for a location and start navigating, it get stuck at "Searching for GPS..."

I troubleshooted this with HTC and tried everything they suggested (white cache, start in safe mode, factory reset, use Waze to navigate, use GPS tool to reset cache again) but all failed.

I then switched my location settings from "High Accuracy" to "Battery Saver" and it worked!

I then switched the mode to use GPS only and it failed again.

It appears that any mode that has the GPS included (High Accuracy and GPS only) will mess up my navigating. The Battery Saver uses every sources but the GPS.

I'm not sure if this is a hardware or software issue. Have any of you experience this and found a fix?

It gets more bizarre here: I tried the same thing on another phone (Blu HD, also running on stock android 6.0.1) and the same thing happened to my navigation, I have to switch to Battery Saver if I want the phone to pick up my location so it can start directing me.

How can the same thing happened to two phones? It has to be a software issue right? But the problem was still there even after I factory reset. This is really puzzling for me. Please advise.

MMS in the Stock Text Messaging App on AL10

So I have the AL10 version and normally I use Hangouts as my messaging app. But I noticed over the weekend, it wouldn't send a picture to a friend. So I went into the stock text messaging app and I can't find any way to send or attach a picture. Am I missing something? Will I not be able to MMS any pictures on this phone? :confused:

Dock background tint on stock MIUI launcher

Has anyone been able to get tinted background with a theme on stock MIUI launcher on v6, v7 or v8?
I was able to get the tinted dock with an iOS 9 theme in early days of MIUI v7 but now the same theme won't tint the dock on v6 or even v7.

Broken Nav Bar on Stock Rom!!

Alright. This is an issue I have only had on custom roms, but never on a fully stock rom. I have the verizon V10, vs990. If I go into a fullscreen app such as a game or an app that hides the nav bar and status bar, I can drag from the right to show the nav bar, but none of the buttons work at all. This all happened after I accepted the 23A update (android 6.0.1) that I got just last week. The only way I can get out of full screen apps is to either drag the status bar down and go into settings, then go to my home screen, or open a fb messenger chat head IF I have one there, and hit the home button when that is open. I will note that having a chat head there or not does not change this situation. The nav bar is simply broken in full screen apps.

I been looking for stock recovery, for days, for LG G4 H811(tmobile) H81120i, unlocked bootloader. I found a complete stock rom(zip), but not the recovery.

Stock ROM for honor 7

I'am a user of honor 7 (PLK-UL00)
I tried to root honor 7 but after the last step i.e to install SuperSU and then reboot your system,
My phone got stuck in boot loop then i started searching for a solution and found that i should install
another version for SuperSU which i did and that made my phone to always boot into bootloader.
Then i again went to hunt for a solution , I got that i had to install a stock ROM for my phone .
When i searched for stock ROM available for my phone i got ROMs available for only PLK-L01
So the question is that is it OK if i install PLK-L01 stock ROM in PLK-UL00 phone.
I'm struggling since a week ,immediate response will be appreciated

Access BL and stock recovery but stuck in logo

good night. my brother has a moto g on the 5.1 version i guess, never rooted or custom recovery. after a 0% battery and no charge, the device stucked in logo of motorola
the first option is save the device, but data is very important to rescue, so it's priority to me.

the BL was locked, to try flash something i unlock it without loose data, i guess...
i can access BL, 41,1A version. tried fastboot and mfastboot to flash 5.0.2 retail rom and 5.1 stock with no success, boot loop of warning!!
can acess recovery, but can wipe data/factory reset, give a error and boot loop.
adb it's only sideload, and give error of footer, no install any of any file.
on adb apply update from sdcard i can view all my folders that i want to bkp, but how i get them? push and pull doesn't work.

I'm doing something wrong, just do not know what it is...
can someone help me? i read a lot of threads!!

Anyone know where or could upload a copy of the blue and yellow line wallpaper on the intl version of the HTC 10?

Can someone please upload the stock version of the Kindle app?

I mistakenly deleted the stock Kindle reading app in the Amazon Fire. Now no other version works. I tried installing from the Play Store, but it closes immediately after opening. I tried also with older versions and the result is the same. Only thing left is to try to reinstall the stock version, to see if it works again. Can someone please upload the .apk? I'd appreciate it.

Stuck in bootloop with usb debugging disable, locked bootloader, all stock non rooted

Am I completely out of luck. I try to run flash.bat from a factory image but img flash fails because the device is locked. I can't find any way to unlock it without getting into developer options which of course is impossible in boot loop. I've tried Wug's tools to no avail. Does anyone know of any way to unlock bootloader without getting into settings to enable usb debugging? Any help is greatly appreciated.

"Best" Stock MM optimized rom

Hey guys I am looking for a rom that has some added features and added optimization similar to cataclysm but on the latest security base 30. i dont like aosp due to bugs and some stability issues. but i am kinda looking for something with a little better performance than just base stock since i know there can be lots of little tweaks made to optimize the stock builds. again i dont want a hybrid aosp or cm based build a pure stock optimized rom would be what im looking for similar to cataclysm. let me know what your using and how you like it.

Stock v10 apps

Im looking for the stock email app to replace then disable so i stop getting unfortunately, has stopped errors. I uninstalled bloatware and anytime i try to send an email via link it will pop up with that error.

[Q] Flash to stock with full reset

Sorry to start a thread for something that I think is simple. I want to update my S5 to the newest PF4. I was on a rooted 5.0.1 before. I didn't care about keeping root, etc.

I used SamFirm to download the newest firmware. Then ODIN to flash the newest firmware.

The result was it upgraded my phone to 6.0.1 instead of a clean install. In the old days, I recall having to clean cache, clean Dalvik cache, and maybe some other steps.

I simply want to nuke my phone 100%, and load it with the stock firmware PF4.

If I reboot my phone into recovery I see Wipe Date/Factory Reset and Wipe cache partition. I envision that is what I need to do, but looking for confirmation. Also, does the order matter?

How to Return to Stock Marshmallow on the LG V10?

I have been looking all over but cannot seem to find how to do this. All I have found thus far is how to return to Lollipop. How would one do this? Push come to shove, I have no issue with returning to Lollipop then updating to Marshmallow, but so far I have seen it said that you cannot flash lollipop overtop an existing Marshmallow phone. I am currently running V10_H901_V20E_Mod_By_Emliminater74.
