Several questions about Moto Z Force

I picked up my Moto Z Force at Best Buy on Thursday. I couldn't pass up their deal. Getting this phone for 4 with the JBL SoundBoost speaker is awesome. I compared to regular Z before buying and the Force felt better in my hand (plus it has some great other upgrades). I'm loving the phone. I upgraded from a Droid Turbo and it is a significant jump up.

Several questions:
1. With my Droid Turbo when ever I connected to a Quick Charge 2 device (battery, car charger, and wall usb charger) the phone would indicate with a message that I was turbo charging. With the Moto Z Force I'm not getting a message with my bought Quick Charge 3 battery, car charger, and wall usb charger (Anker and Aukey). With the Force I'm only getting the "TurboPower Connected" message when I use the supplied wall charger. Is there anyway to confirm I'm charging at Quick Charge 3 speeds with my other devices? I'm hoping this can be done via software on phone.

2. It has been a while since I have used a micro sd card in phone. I'm loving I can do this with Moto Z even though getting card out is kind of pain in ass and you need special tool as well. I have the 200gb Sandisk Ultra Micro SD which I picked up a while back on sale for . Read speeds on this card are decent but write speeds are pretty slow. I'm noticing that speeds are significantly slower transferring large files to phone (with card in it) with cord vs. pulling card and doing with memory card reader. Is this normal? Is there any way to improve these speeds?

3. I'm looking for a good ultra thin case. I would like to add the least amount bilk and weight possible. I picked up a TPU case on amazon but it a bit bulky. Ideally I would like to get a thin polycarbonate case like Spigen's Thin Fit. Does anyone here know of a case like this for the Z Force?

several (looks like it never stops) system upgrade ??

I live in norway but i bought my xperia z3 compact (D5833) on ebay (from china). All seems to be great but i get programm and system updates all the time. I have upgradet as i was asked to do at least 3-4 times, but as soon as one upgrade is done the next one comes up? It sais version 23.5.A.0.575 android programm update this time. Is this the latest one? Is it usual one have to upgrade several times after receiving a new cell phone? it uses android 5.1.1 thanks for reply, regards, Rianna

Several weird problems.

Hello people,
Does anybody have problems with Wi-Fi( sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't, and it shows a very poor signal and not all networks are visible), Bluetooth(won't work at all) and SD and SIM cards (keep mounting and unmounting randomly)?? And also found that phone doesn't move while I'm on Waze or google maps, it is stuck only on current location, but shows the route without real navigation or moving with it(And although my GPS is on, Waze tells me there is no GPS).
I'm using Samsung Galaxy S4(GT-I9505), CM13 (pretty much all nightlies I've used have the same problem), and switched back to TouchWiz, same problems happened.
If anyone knows or heard about these problems please tell me, and is it possible to be hardware problem that has things to do with all these combined? And Thanks!

Several questions about XT1040

Hi, like two years ago I bought a Moto G XT1040 and it came with CM12. I installed custom ROMs before on my old Xperia X8 and I kind of know a little bit about it.
The thing is I wanted to make a fresh install of any Android 4.4+ ROM to be able to play Pokemon GO. My phone is slower lately, and I don't really know how the internal storage is so small... the phone says it has 5.52GB total space and I only have 1GB free. I don't even have more than 85MB of pictures+videos in my phone, the only "big" apps I downloaded are Facebook Facebook Messenger, Telegram, Chrome, YouTube, ES File Explorer, Candy crush, Gmail and Neko atsume (lol). In total I have around 1,8GB on apps, the rest is like 1.25gb on MISC, is that the space required by the ROM alone or what? I install every app I can on SD, but still I'm missing space, is there any ROM where I can really install my apps on SD and free more space?
I don't currently have a USB cable in case of any "emergency", so I want to take a safe choice... something I can do by downloading the files into my phone and know that everything should be fine at the moment of installation. Sumarizing:
- I have a Moto G XT1040 (I thing it's LTE, supports 4G, not really sure). Rom: CM 12-20150126-NIGHTLY-peregrine (Lollipop 5.0.2). Kernel: 3.4.42-gfaa9160
- I want to do a fresh install 'cause it's slow and I need to free space
- I want to play Pokemon Go with it, so I need a 4.4+ ROM, what are good choices for this phone? I mean, something that can run fast enough
- Would be cool to have a stable version to be safe 'cause I don't have a USB cable right now

Oh and also, I'm not sure if this is the right forum for this phone, 'cause I've only found things for XT1039... on the other Moto G forum (2014 LTE) there were more recent versions, so I'm kinda lost.

(Bootloader Unlock) Finally.... GX8 and several others

I used this to bootloader unlock several different Huawei devices, including the Honor 5x, GX8 and a couple others.

If you've tried to bootloader unlock your GX8 anytime in the past months, you know it always says the "server is busy" and you cannot do the official bootloader unlock, that is, until Now!

First, let me give a shout out to RootJunky, his video is imperative in watching to make sure you enter all the information in the correct spot, as it won't initially be in the English language on the page. It can be translated however once you get to the page where you enter your device information.

1st. Install the Huawei drivers

2. Install ADB drivers and make sure your phone has been given ADB access on your screen (After you install the drivers, open a command window and type adb devices with your phone plugged into your computer, then check the box and you're good to go. If you don't have ADB setup correctly just ask, surely someone or myself will guide you through it.

--Check mark the box at the bottom of the first page, then click the rectangular box to get to the next page, Where the bootloader unlock process begins.

On this page, just right click if you're using google chrome and select translate to english and you can see where everything goes. Also, watch the video as it helps tremendously. Don't mind that his video is for the P8 lite, as it's exact same process.

[Windows 10] Unable to load certain apps on several app emulators

Nox, Memu, Bluestacks and Koplayer. Some platforms I've tried fixing this problem and have an issue with them all.

I only play Game of War, as I do business from it but Mobile Strike also has this issue so I'm guessing it's linked to both as they're made by the same company.

Basically, I used to use Nox as my main emulator, which worked absolutely fine until one day I couldn't log in due to being stuck in a 'maintenance loop' which MZ (Game of War makers) haven't helped me get out of. So, I had to switch and found Memu. Been working fine, until today. Every time I go to load Game of War, it loads like normal, then at 70% the app closes. No error, nothing. This happens on every emulator, since today.

Things I've tried:

• Reinstalling the app
  Reinstalling the emulators
  Reinstalling Windows
  Deleting App cache, data and force stop

Works absolutely fine off my laptop, on the same network, but not off my main PC. Is this fixable at all, because I'm in a pickle and frankly, it's driving me nuts!

How do I reclaim my devices only one was rooted almost successfully..it won't boot stays at globule screen. Won't turn off just stuck..others non rootable locked down in false sd storage. I cannot regain access to delete and possibly reinstall factory firmwares. I don't know codings or how to use Linux or whatever they use through Google open source items..So many apks and files! All listed under licenses..I am autistic as is my son I been without devices since April..I am si stressed I black out and broke my jaw open when my brain shutdown from no sleep working on these and others items..with no success..Anyone please help us..
If more info is needed just let me know..
