I just got one of these recently just to use as an Mp3 player and fitness tracker mainly. I know it is a riduclous device cos of its size but it works ok although the android build is pretty bad. Just wondering if anyone owns one or is interested in making a rom for it?
Reckon it could be quite a neat device with some tweaks.
Today I downloaded a few stock roms and I installed them with SP flash tool smoothly without any issue. In the end I installed again the latest stock rom but this time my phone went dead, the screen is black and my pc doesn't recognise the device.
Also, I opened the cover and removed the battery without any luck.
Every headphones i've tried turning in or some x-mini speaker was buzzing and on the other phones all of them were working fine. I tried cleaning it with alcohol, still buzzing. Does anyone know solution to this problem, or at least new headphone jack to replace Thanks in advanced

My phone Elephone p6000 (KitKat) - one month ago stuck on Boot Start Screen - Using recovery to factory reset I was able to restore phone to live. This week same phone stuck on Boot Start Screen. But this time I cant start recovery mode. Power + Volume UP or Down or all same at time - all Fail. Only Start LOGO "elephone" and after 5 min power down.
No battery progress bar after plug-in charger. But Battery charged full on different phone.
Please note: On the phone was only original KitKat ROM - newer used update. On phone used only basic apps nothing suspicious.
Visiting all phone services in Dublin (include Chinese shops Service) - Nobody even wanted to undertake repairs. The phone is not popular in this part of the world.
Hi guys, im having some problem with my Elephone S3 unfortunately. It is a very basic problem but I can't figure out what's wrong. I can't get the eBay Mobile app to work on this phone, i've tried Elephone Launcher, Google Now Launcher, and Nova Prime Launcher, I have also tried installing the most recent version as well as past versions of the app onto the phone as well. Whenever I try to run the app, it just crashes and gives me the "Report" or Close prompt. However the "Report" button only closes the window without allowing me to get into specifics. I have used so many chinese phones in the past and this is the first time I have encountered this issue. Is this specific to the Elephone S3? Or does anyone know of any other such occurrences on other phones?
Elephone recently has not only been busy with Elephone p9000 lite OTA update, but also the new smartphone, Elephone p20 and Elephone S7, i have introduced Elephone p20 specs before, right now elephone also leaked they will release elephone s7 in S series. It will also be powered by Helio X20 Deca core processor, dual curved screen and bezel-less design like elephone s3. As for price, they said elephone s7 series will be ranging from .99 to 9.99, As for the color options the phone should be coming in some unusual ones like green, blue and gold. This is the 2nd elephone i have owned my first being the elephone p7000.
Looks & feel on the Elephone s3
The s3 looks & feels so much better, it has a real quality feel about it with the 5.2inch Bezel-less Screen that goes right to the phones edge's. The 5.2inch Bezel-less Screen is a big selling point for me & wow does it stand out its a pleasure to use & show off.
The colour quality of the screen its self is outstanding everything looks so crisp & clear witch stand out even better when your using the camera.
Its not a light phone weighing in at 145g but a nice sturdy phone.It comes with 3GB RAM,16GB ROM,Octa Core, 1.3GHz chipset, 5.2inch Bezel-less 2.5D Arc FHD Screen, Android 6.0 , 13 mega-pixel main camera & a 5 mega pixel front facing camera.
The first thing I did with the phone was to check for a OTA update just to make sure I was on the latest FW.There was a update 20160612 (Don't ask me what the change log was as its in Chinese.But anyway I installed the update very easy,The one thing I did notice was the new ELE UI.
The UI appears in the form of Launcher,Where you can find the option in settings and choose from

Usability
The Elephone s3 has a Octa core 1.3GHz Processor along with the Mali-T720 GPU giving it better performance than most phones.It comes with Android 6.0 out the box witch runs Awesome. The UI looks great & with the 3GB of RAM everything runs smooth & fast.
Using the Fingerprint scanner on the s3 is cool.It reads my fingerprint every time iv not had it fail yet, Just over 1 second to open the phone + you can use is to take front facing photos,Scroll the phones app draw,Skip music songs, Nice touch ha ha.
Iv Installed & tested both beach buggy blitz and asphalt 8 & both play ok but played better once i had reduced the graphics quality.

Another cool thing with the S3 is the Turbo download it combines 4g and wifi both at the same time giving you very fast downloads indeed.

For me the only down side to the Elephone s3 is the 2100mAh battery,It would of been nice to see something a bit bigger as it will need charging everyday but on a plus side it does charge from flat in about 2.5 hours.
