HELP : Text message links open but show nothing

Hello

i wonder if someone can help me. my s7 edge has started to do something strange.

if i send or receive a text via the default messaging application i am unable to open that link on my phone. well thats not exactly true it opens it from what i can tell in Samsungs Internet app the page loads in the back ground but isnt visable i just see a blank white screen. when i then close the page to rub salt in the wound it then shows me what i actually clicked on in teh first place for a split second as it closes the page.

i have tried clearing settings and cache for both the Samsung Internet App and the Messaging App and it still does it. both Apps are up to day. its rather annoying that i cant set Messaging App to use Chrome which is my default browser

any one have any suggestions on how to fix this

MMS in the Stock Text Messaging App on AL10

So I have the AL10 version and normally I use Hangouts as my messaging app. But I noticed over the weekend, it wouldn't send a picture to a friend. So I went into the stock text messaging app and I can't find any way to send or attach a picture. Am I missing something? Will I not be able to MMS any pictures on this phone? :confused:

Does anyone know how to get the group texts to say who all is in the group? Instead of just getting a message from the sender as a mms without anyone else's name. Thanks in advance

Unofficial unlocked, just got text for official unlock permissions

I received my phone a couple days ago and got tired of waiting for the confirmation text so I did it the unofficial way. I now have permission to access the official unlock tool, which is great.

Can I just run the official unlock over my unofficial unlock for less issues? What are the correct steps to transition from "unofficial" to "official"?

HTC messages - no text

Hello,

I tried to use HTC messages today and for some reason when I type the text doesn't show in the dialog box neither in the conversation.
Emojis and attachments such as picture show but that's it.
Anyone else having this issue?

Problem with text messages on s7

Hello everyone, my friend got a s7 g935p from eBay not knowing that it was American version but everything works fine apart from text messages.
For some reason it sends the messages in parts. Like part 1 half a message and part 2 rest of the message
Is there any way I can stop it doing that so that it just sends 1 full message .

How to Remove crackers watermark text on .apk? example: "Cracked by Skinny-Heart"

hello Guys! I'm new here.

I have a question.

How to remove crackers Watermark on cracked/patched .apk? for example "Cracked by (name)" text every time you open the apk file.

It is not like that I wan't to steal his/her work. I just want to adjust it better remove it, because every time I play the game, his/her Watermark still appearing in the game's screen or in my phone's screen. The game is Chaos Rings Omega. I bought the game on playstore before they removed it, but the apk on the playstore doesn't work, then this crackers patched apk works with the obb I downloaded on the official site.

I just want to know where can I find or where do they put the watermark on the apk file, so that I can delete or edit it if possible.

S7 Stock Contacts Notes text limit

Samsung Galaxy S7 Contacts
Any notes > 1000 characters are truncated, this syncs back to google contacts and results in permanent loss of all data > 1000 characters.
It is extremely frustrating to permanently lose data from contacts without warning.

I have tried different contact/Dialer Apps.
Currently using:
Ready Contacts + Dialer
Ready Communication
I thought this had fixed the issue as all notes were visible. However on EDIT the problem returned.

This weird program jumps in when the edit button is pushed and seems to take care of the problem.

Tough ? on watermark text in Camera settings

Does anyone have any idea how to change the watermark text in the camera app, I want to remove the Huawei P9 Plus and keep the Leica dual lens bit, but it seems the watermark file is an .argb file which is a very uncommon format (I cannot find converters or even viewers for .argb files) assuming I have the right file (watermark folder in the camera app folder) any help would be HUGELY appreciated though I fear this is one for the real 'techy' guys out there, thanks.

Gear S2 Text Watch Face

Hey guys,

I am currently trying to create a text watch face for my gear s2 classic, I initially thought that I would be able to do this using a custom bitmap font however that won't work as it only uses single digit numbers and unfortunately numbers change when they become double digits i.e. 10 isn't pronounced onezero.

Does anyone have any tips that would help me create this watch face?

Have 4g data, can receive and send text, but cannot dial out or receive calls.

Hi Everyone!

Here's the back story. I have an unlocked note 2. I've been using wilsons ROM for over a year and decided to switch to Cyanide a couple days ago.
Download all the files, everything went fine during install. Booted up normally. Got everything set up. Great right!? Everything was until I unplugged the phone from the charger and it started playing a notification and would not stop. So I rebooted the phone and from that moment on the phone will not see the cellular network. Data is there, and I can send and receive messages, but I cannot dial out or receive calls.

I've gone to VZW and picked up a new SIM - same result.
I've tried restoring backups - same result.
I've odin'd back to full stock out of the box condition - same result.
Unlocked the bootloader again and tried reflashing the ROMs and the same result.
Any ideas on how to fix this? Could it be a hardware issue? Change antennas?

** Cliffs - Unlocked bootloader Note2 - Installed Cyanide, set everything up, rebooted and lost cellular network connection. Flashed all the way back to stock, nothing changed.

Any advice is welcome. I'm stumped as to why it's not working but data is.

Text message led indicator issue

I dont know how to exactly explain the issue...
When you receive a text message your led light is supposed to blink green
This works most of the time
For some reason if I am texting someone and I leave the text message open and my screen goes to the black/screen saver screen, My led wont blink if that same person messages me... it will blink if another friend texts me.
Its kind of annoying.

Anyone else have this issue? I have had it since I got the phone.

S7 Stock Contacts Notes text limit

HELP just jumped back to Samsung after a decade away.
The Contacts NOTES 1000 character limit is killing me.
I have 5000+ and 20 years of contact info stored away and the App is deleting all character above 1000 when a contact is edited.
This then syncs to my google and outlook databases causing havoc and destruction.
I absolutely must edit from the phone in real time to keep the data fresh.
Any suggestions or ideas?? Any replacement app or workaround suggested??
I have had HTC-8, Asus, Motorola V3 in the intervening years in all cases the stock contacts list did not have this limit.

I expect I would need up to 4000 or 5000 Chr to keep the current data I have though in 90% of cases it is just 10-20 words only in that field.
