Busybox?

Running Resurrection Remix on my G900i...

Using several root apps w/o issue.

Don't think Busybox is installed on Rom?

Seems strange that it wouldn't be i.e. if it was needed think dev would put it in ^^

Question: is it really needed?

TBU - didn't seem to need it... (Tried TBU to freeze some stuff, can't freeze on free = uninstalled).

Tried Flashfire and it said I wasn't rooted (but I am) thinking this could be down to BB perhaps not being installed.

Any advice welcome (helpful o/c)

What did BusyBox do? URGENT PLEASE HELP

Hello, I have a S5 rooted running stock. I'm pretty sure I didn't trip knox when I rooted it. So anyway I rooted my phone a while ago using odin and it was all good. See I use ANZ mobile pay, which is pretty much like android pay. Then the other day I was messing around with overclocking and undervolting and stuff, so I installed busybox for the app. Then when I went to go pay and now the app doesn't work. It says something because the device has been modified. I believe there is an Xposed module for this but I don't have Xposed because of TouchWiz. I would prefer not to have to reset or loose data. As soon as there is a stable CyanogenMod (13) release for this I will probably go over to that so I can use the Xposed module but I'm not sure when that is. So I uninstalled BusyBox and wanted to know if I could undo what ever it did. Anyway if there is another solution it will be much appreciated. Thanks

Problems with Trickster Mod + Busybox in No Limits MM ROM

I have the No-Limits Marshmallow ROM, works great. Have Phoenix kernel. Busybox is installed as is Trickster Mod for kernel control. I use the Stericson Busybox Installer which I've used for years.

But after installing this new ROM, which is very close to TW Stock, I have a problem with Trickster Mod, it keeps telling me Busybox not installed correctly. Trickster Mod refuses to run!

But Busybox seems to be installed, no other root apps are complaining. So I removed Tickster Mod, now use ROM toolbox to control CPU speed, scheduler and governor.

Anyone else have this problem?

BusyBox / SuperSu

Hi All !

Ok, so I'm actually building a CM-Based ROM, which, for now, has been build wit UberTC Toolchain (yeah, that's nothing but hey, we have to start with something right !).
Next step for me would be to include SuperSu and BusyBox to the ROM, not after flashing, but right into sources.
Can someone knows how-to :D ?

Thanks !

Flashtool can't detect busybox

Well, strange things are happening to my phone...After I managed to get root access, according to Root Checker,I connected my Z5 to the PC but Flashtool doesn't detect Busybox and displays ''Root access denied'' message. Also in Service menu the DRM keys seems intact and the Rooting status is:Bootloader unlock allowed:Yes.

Any idea what is happening?
