[Q] Gear Fit 2 / Moto G 2014 - Gear Manager doesn't find watch on Moto G 2014

Hi guys,
I was trying to get the gear fit 2 working with my moto g (2014) (Android 6 resurrection remix from). The Bluetooth settings can see the watch and pair, but the gear manager doesn't find a 'compatible gear'.
I'm using the gear manager for non Samsung phones.
Anyone with this phone was able to connect? Does anyone know a fix for this?

Some app doesn't sync to watch.

I just updated to M1D63G via Xperia Companion.
Everything looks ok, most of app has synced to watch, except Feel the wear, Advanced Settings for Watch, Root Essentials.
There is a list i tried

• reset SWR50 many time


• press sync app in android wear app


• disable cloud synchronization in android wear app


• reset my phone


• flash mwd49b rom made by alex6600 (fail because Bluetooth share FC)

Is there any idea to let it work again? thanks~

My G Watch R have problems.. :/

First, I connected dock to charge my G Watch R, It turned on screen itself. So, I turned off the screen, It turned on again itself!

Second, I don't turned on health sensor, It turned on the health sensor, and I can't turned off! So, I try to reboot and retry to use, It turned on again.

Third, My G Watch turned off itself while to charge it. I don't know and I can't fix this problem.

Fourth, Reminder can't use it. My friend said, "Reminder is use Google Search App". But I think it is not, I try to use Reminder, It said "If you want to use Reminder, Please check it in your phone", So I pushed the button And It said "Android Wear was stopped".

Fifth, Sometimes My G Watch R have Android Wear Not response issue.

What happend my G Watch R?

I think My charge dock have so many trouble issues in my G Watch R, So I try to change my charge dock.

Please help me :crying:

Recommendations for smart watch with Note 4 running CM 12.1

I messed up and bought a Samsung Gear S2 watch to go with my Galaxy Note 4. It requires initialization with Samsung Gear app on the phone. The watch won't do anything, even display the time, until initialization is complete. You get an error message about an incompatible operating system. So I returned the watch.

I need recommendations for smart watches that will work with a rooted phone running CM 12.1. Thanks.

Help me find this watch face again

I recently had to factory reset my classic gear S2 and lost my favorite watch face in the process. I attached a picture of it. Somehow I can't find it in the store anymore and I don't remember its name. If someone recognizes it, can you tell me its name? I would really appreciate as it was the perfect watch face for my need.

New Gear Watch Designer update brings support for Gear S

Samsung's Gear Watch Designer app, which lets developers create custom watch faces, has been updated with support for the South Korean company's*first-gen Gear S*smartwatch. The update is available for both Mac and Windows clients.


This means that the app, which is still in beta, now lets you create watch faces for the Gear S as well, adding the wearable to its list of supported devices which only contained*the Gear S2*andGear Fit 2*so far.

Cannot get Watch to even connect to computer or use ADB

I just got my watch today and I've been trying to use ADB to install a rom but I cannot for the life of me, get this watch to connect to my computer (Windows 8.1).
I'm not sure why ADB is not detecting my device, because I use this same computer to root my LGG4.

I keep seeing this :
I've tried those guides that I found on Google (manually installing adb drivers, manually searching and installing the watch driver) but this watch will not work.
I've also tried disabling driver verification and set my machine into test mode and it still won't work.

Are there any steps I'm missing? I'm on Windows 8.1 and I really wanna root this phone to get more battery life out of it.

I can using Fastboot abd follow on this step

fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
fastboot flash system system.img

But i can't flash System.img file sir it said " that target reported max download size of 63963136 bytes
Invalid sparse file format at header magi "

And now i don't have no idea what i can do after this sir .
I love this watch and i don't want to loss it

Problems charging watch when switched off - overheating

Hi!
I bought my Sony Smartwatch 3 about two months ago. I've always updated the watch and now I'm on the latest build MWD49B.
I don't know precisely when the problem started, but for sure also before updating to the latest build it already showed it.

Basically if the watch is turned off it won't charge and it'll overheat a lot. I mean it maybe charges at an absurd rate, like from 60% to 100% in about 4 hours.
I tried changing charger (1A and 2A) and charging cable, but it doesn't change. It's like stuck in some way. The funny thing is that when it is stuck in this state if I turn it on (with the same chargers and cables) it starts charging fast (normal charging times) and funny enough it gets colder than when it's turned off charging (I mean slightly hot but colder than when it's stuck).

Do any of you has this problem?
Could it be a SW problem too or just HW? I haven't tried to reset it yet, but would rather lose time in resetting it and reinstalling all my stuff than losing time in the RMA process and waiting time to have it repaired, even because thinking of running without it makes me feel already mad! :)

My g watch says that it's up to date while it's not!

Hello friends,i recently bought a g watch but when i want to update it,it says that device is up to date,but my android wear version is 1.0.1.1405545!
Google play services 8.7.01!
According to my reserches there should be update for it!!
My build number also is kgw42q.
Now could you please help me update my watch?
And i'm some how beginner,please make it as easy as possible!!

Watch won't turn on. Battery icon with X in it on screen.

I took my watch out of the box yesterday, turned it on and got it set up but per usual with a new device it wasn't charged much, and I needed to get links taken out of the band anyways, so I sat it on the charger overnight and let it be.

This morning I came back to it LESS charged than it was, but not dead (And yes I made sure the connectors were seating fully). I turned it off and then immediately I could not get it to turn back on again. I tried the 10 second hold of the button with no success. I have a battery icon with an X in it on the display. 10 second hold makes the icon go away momentarily then come back on while on the charger. Off the charger I get nothing at all.

I have tried two chargers, the box one and an OEM one purchased from Google. Both same results. Battery icon with X.

What exactly does that icon mean? Is it just a dead battery icon or a "not charging" icon or what?

Any help? Thanks!

Apps not syncing to the watch

Has anyone had this issue or no what to do?

I reset my watch and started from scratch, all the apps I used before where still installed on my phone.

When it paired it installed most of them, however there are a few it hasn't added like Strava, ghost racer.

I've rebooted both the phone and wattch and clicked resume apps although nothing seems to have happened so far.

Anyone got any suggestions?

Would appreciate if you can advise me a smart watch under 200$ USDs.
Good battery life , decent round display, sporty look and connectivity with android are my priorities.

Dont mind trying no names Chinese watches as well if someone can confirm 1st hand experience reg few .

[APP] Smart Wear Speed: Show current speed limit on your watch with alerts

This application will allow you to display two widgets on your watch:

• Current Speed
Show your current speed.
If your speed is greater than the current speed limit it will be shown in red.
The progress ring goes from green to red while getting close to the limit.
If the speed limit is unknown it's grey.

• Current Speed Limit
The application is trying to get the speed limit for OpenStreetMap.
If the value is not available the widget will show "__" in red.

You can manually add a speed limit for the current road:
Click on one of the widgets to open the "New Speed Limit" dialogue.
Try to open this when you are close to the road speed limit: your current speed is used to set the speed limit value.
Once the dialogue is open you can adjust the speed by swiping up or down before the end of the countdown.
Swipe right to dismiss.
(in case of error you can start again, it will update value)
The value will be saved and will be used each time you drive on this road again.
You can add the speed limit on the openstreetmap website too.
It's really easy. See Google+ community for information.

Use the phone application to modify the widgets behavior and look.

You can add alerts triggered at speed % of the current speed limit.

Long Click on widget to close.

Launching app on watch will toggle widgets on/off.

Gear S2 Text Watch Face

Hey guys,

I am currently trying to create a text watch face for my gear s2 classic, I initially thought that I would be able to do this using a custom bitmap font however that won't work as it only uses single digit numbers and unfortunately numbers change when they become double digits i.e. 10 isn't pronounced onezero.

Does anyone have any tips that would help me create this watch face?

I'm surprised I don't see a Movado watch face

With our amoled screen a Movado watch face would not only look awesome but it would be extremely efficient for the battery life.Attachment 3808923
