IR - Blaster in Samsung S8

Hi everyone i want to ask if there is a possibility of adding IR feature to Samsung S8 coming in 2017.
IR Blaster is very useful feature of android, i normally use this with my Canon 6D Dslr and secondary for TVs in hotels bars or conference rooms where staff hide the remote controls.
if it is not possible i will have to change to LG :(
i have sent an email to Samsung headoffice in Korea and also i wrote to president of South Korea Park Geun-hye. I requested her to have a look at Samsung's policy of adding/removing features from Samsung. I also requested her to force Samsung in adding Dual-sim to its flag ship phones, Samsung already have this feature in low end phones just need an extra bay in flag ship phones.

I just hope we will get back IR-blaster in upcoming Galaxy S8.

htc one m8s ir blaster

hi folks ,just purchased this phone, htc one m8s and on gsm arena website it says it as a ir blaster.when i installed anymote/smart remote app which i purchased it says my phone does not have a ir blaster.could anyone shed any light on this matter.

LG l9 II - IR Blaster not working with remote control apps

Hello. I have a problem... When I press any button on the remote control, IR blaster does not flash. When I run an application that comes with the system, IR blaster normally blinks, I checked so I pointed the other phone in IR blaster, and I started the camera. The camera can see IR, and no eye. I tried a variety of applications, and is always the same problem. What could be my problem? :confused:
