Galaxy S5 SM-G900V Samsung Account Lock: No WIFI to Choose at the Wizard WIFI Screen

I bought this phone which was freezing up. I thought that a firmware upgrade would do the trick. However, there was a Samsung Account of the phone and I was not aware of. The phone goes to the first set up screen, asks me to connect to WIFI but there is not WIFI providers to choose from. I click in the refresh WIFI list and the phone asks me to turn on WIFI. However, I do not have access to the WIFI on/off switch due to Samsung account lock. After a couple minutes the phone would again freeze up. Sometimes it restarts or it would simply stay in a black screen. I have to remove the battery and start the process all over. I have tried re-flashing via ODIN . I update the phone via Verizon Software Assistance to the latest firmware Marshmallow G900VVRU2DPF4. But I downgraded to G900VVRU2BOE1 Lollipop 5.0 firmware now. I also tried removing the account by flashing the modem.bin file but I get stock in the same spot. Guys, please help!

Can I sync Exchange Calendar as push while email as manual for the same account?

Basically, I want to sync my email as manual during peak hours (hours when I am in office and can see emails on my computers constantly as it is annoying to have an alert for the same email on my phone). However, doing so makes my calendar sync as manual as well. Can I sync my calendar on push and email on manual (ideally using peak schedule setting where I will have my emails on push outside office hours)?

I hope it made sense what I am trying to do.

[Q] Google account crashes settings

So when I try to view my linked google accounts my settings crash. It wasn't an issue till someone linked a new account to my phone and now its complaining about log in. It just sits on a blank screen till it says settings has stopped. Other accounts can be motified, just not a google account.

Does Samsung account save alarms or wipe process failed?

I wiped my phone last night to config all the apps again because of some problems... all the apps installed again but i noticed that the clock app still has all my alarms from before the wipe procces...

So, is google syncing alarms on google account or the wipe process somehow failed? thanks

Cm13 contacts can't use google account

So all my contacts are on my google account.
I've just uograded to cm13. All my contacts are missing and when I go to contact settings > accounts
Google does not show up

how to transfer game data from one google account to another??

I have a tablet that I have given to my wife.. She now has games saved under my google account..
I want to delete my account from the tablet and add her account.. but she says she has been playing the games for months and don't want to start over.. how can I transfer her game data (which is saved to my google account) to her google account??

also the tablet is not rooted..

Anyone able to share a google play developers account with me?

Can't Add An Google Account? Cm 12.1 Nightly

so i recently downloaded Cm 12.1 Nightly on my Sony Xperia T (LT30p) and It runs really well.
But when i wanted to open the google play store, it closes immediately.
So i went to Settings> Accounts> Add Account... but then i could only choose between: 'Corporate', 'Cyanogenmod', 'IMAP' and 'POP3'.
And then i saw that there was no 'Add Google Account' Option...
I had the same thing on my S4 mini but that option came 10 minutes later.
And i'm waiting for 1 hour now...
So does anyone know what i can do?

Ps. i could logging via the browser but that didnt gave me the option...

no gps or samsung account

since rooting and flashing xtrestolite and the aroma add-on, both my samsung accout and gps have stopped working. the samsung account i can live without, although i did have a cool milkyway theme goin on, but the gps is critical. i have tried using the gps reset apps. i have tried a full data wipe and cache wipe. i've tried restoring old system data with titanium backup. nothing seems to work. gps app shows 0/0 satellites. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Verify Your Account VS986 G4

Hi everyone,

So my Verizon G4 VS986 recently had a bootloop issue and was sent in to LG to fix the phone. They sent it back and what they said they did was to replace the flash memory. Obviously the phone has been reset and all my data is wiped as warned before I sent the phone in. The phone now boots up but I'm stuck at verify your account. I logged in to my google account on this phone and after two step verification was a success, I still cannot move forward and am stuck at the verify your account.

I looked into this issue online and found that this is part of the Factory Reset Protection built into 5.1. In either case, I did not change my password to my google account at all, it is still the same password, so the 72 hour wait rule shouldn't apply here at all. I also can't bypass the protection either since some of the methods require that you go into the Accessibility as seen here through this link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/g4/g...count-t3223518 . My issue is that that Accessibility menu is not present on the initial screen, only language and moving forward.

So what are my options now? Contact LG about my issue or is there a way I can contact Google? Is it possible that the original account information is stored on the flash memory which LG replaced and now the account I need to log in is of some different user? If that's the case, am I forever stuck on this screen and this phone is effectively dead? Or is there something I can do that I haven't discovered yet? If anyone could help, it'd be a great help, thank you.

Can't pass from google account screen after Factory Reset

Hello everyone, as a lurker, I got many usefull things through this forums, so thank you really, you have saved my neck countless times.

This is my first post, because I ran into a problem and I can´t find a reliable solution for this.

You see, I ofered a service to someone to repair his Moto G (model is XT1543, Dual SIM, 16GB ROM and 2GB RAM).

It was messed up very badly, so I thougth that the only way possible was to factory reset the phone.

After that, the phone, after the wifi selection at startup, asks for a google acount, I tried to log with mine but the phone says that I need to log with an acount used in that phone before. I called to the owner, but unsurprisingly, he can´t remember his email, neither his password.

The phone refuses to boot with any other google acount, it always asks for the previously used, but is missing.

I reinstalled the stock rom, and the result is the same, it seems the problem is server based and not hardware.

I attempted to install a custom ROM, but the bootloader check on dev settings was unmarcked, thus, impossible to acces now.

Am I screwed over? :crying:

Can't Connect to Play Games account !

Hi,
I wanted to change my nickname in (play games) account ,but I couldn't .so, I have deleted my (play games) account and made a new one .
^ using the same google account !

the problem :
when I tried to connect my games to the new (play games) account ,I couldn't ....
when I press (connect to play games) while I am inside the game ,it only show me the logo of (play games) and never actually connect ... and the (connect) button stays red !

Can you Help me !!!

#important note :
- This problem is only facing me with these two games only ( Clash of clans / Clash royal )
-I managed to connect ( boom beach ) successfully! although it is from the same developer [SuperCell] !
and other games also connected easily!

Disable Gmail account in Gmail app?

My Google account has a spare Gmail account associated with it that I don't want to appear in the Gmail app. I use the Gmail app with other, non-Gmail email accounts that I have.

Is there any way to disable the Gmail account from appearing at all in the Gmail app (and Calendar app, for that matter)? Simply telling Android not to sync the Gmail portion of my Google account isn't enough to do anything.

Failed bootloader unlock. Phone is now locked to another mi account. Need help

Hi there. I was following a guide on how to unlock the bootloader for the xiaomi redmi note 3 pro and it failed on the last step as i entered fastboot oem-unlock go

now when i rebooted the phone, it started up a new setup process and in the end it says my phone is locked to another mi account and that i cannot access it without the password. according to the miui forums there is a way to bypass this, but when i start extracting the .tgz file, i dont get the same files as listed and when i try to flash it again using miflash, it says files missing and i cannot proceed.

How do i get this issue fixed up so that i can get my phone back to at least function without all headache? I have flashed and unlocked a nexus device before but it never gave me such issues. Thanks in advance
