Elephone p8000 headphone jack not working
Every headphones i've tried turning in or some x-mini speaker was buzzing and on the other phones all of them were working fine.
I tried cleaning it with alcohol, still buzzing.
Does anyone know solution to this problem, or at least new headphone jack to replace
Thanks in advanced

Headphone Output Quality
I'm coming from a Oneplus One a much better phone for music than my poor old Galaxy S2. How does the Oneplus 3 do compared to its predecessor's? Is it loud, undistorted, have a good range in its built-in DAC for the 3.5mm Jack?
Thanks-

Replacing headphone jack
Hello,
my headphone jack has recently started to work incorrectly a bit. Sometimes, it detects headphones being jacked in although there are none and thus I cannot talk via the phone (speaker is not working as the phone thinks that headphones are put in). What's more, one of the headphones hardly receives any signal from the jack and just does not play anything, although the headphones are completely okay.
Has anyone of you any experience with replacing the jack? Should I get the phone to some service and let them do the thing or is it doable easily at home? The jack itself is pretty cheap, yet I do do not have the proper screwdrivers or too much experience with so delicate electronics. Screwdrivers are not a problem, yet if it's a rather difficult and risky thing to do, then I'd prefer to give the phone to people who do know what they are doing : )
Also, if anyone has some service manual wherer such replecement is described, I'd appreciate if they shared!
Thanks,
Greg

Boost Headphone Volume?
I got some new over the ear headphones and I have to turn up the media volume up all the way but it isn't loud enough. I don't really want to carry around an external amp at the gym.
I'm not sure of the impedance of the headphones. I've seen that there's a mod on here to increase the volume but does it decrease the audio quality? What options do I have?
I'm on XPower 3.0.

Headphone Jack won't go all the way in
Well, all of a sudden the headphone jack won't go all the way in, which means I can't use headphones anymore. Has anyone else had the same issue or any ideas on how to fix it?
Thanks
Thanks
I can have wifi or a working headphone port (and sometimes neither!). Why?
Perhaps someone with more electrical engineering know-how can answer.
It's almost certainly a hardware issue. I don't know if it's the cable I'm using, some grounding issue, or what, but the problem is really annoying.
Full disclosure, I have a tmobile/at&t motherboard inside a N7105. I swapped it over last fall-ish because the N7105 motherboard developed a sleep of death problem that persisted through every rom I put on there, and even occurred when I was in recovery. Whatever, I can't get LTE on tmobile with this phone anyway, which is why I acquired a tmobile motherboard to swap in.
Perhaps it was always a problem, since I rarely use the headphone port. I got an unpleasant surprise a couple months ago when I tried- nothing but static through headphones. Long story short, it's apparently some grounding issue? I followed the recommendations in that post. I still needed to smack it a little before it would work. But it more or less solved the issue.
I've been having wifi problems recently, and it may or may not be a consequence of the above issue. My wifi would simply stop detecting wifi signals. It would stop connecting, and then the wifi settings would eventually realize that it couldn't see any networks at all. Turning the wifi on/off or rebooting wouldn't bring it back. I keep solving this by disassembling my phone (poor thing, it's been disassembled so many times in the past month), letting it sit for a bit, and reassembling it. I'm slowly working out that putting screws in any slot other than right by the wifi antenna would eventually result in the lost wifi. It does work to bring the wifi back, and anything less doesn't. I don't know why. It might be a contact issue, but I can't see any difference between this and the N7105 motherboard.
In any case, this means that whatever grounding connection needed to make the headphone port work just isn't happening. That's fine, I still have my trusty rockboxed ipod.
But the wifi problem persists, and it's completely absent in the N7105 motherboard (but sleep of deeeeaaaaath). It could be that the Anker 10ft cable I recently got is no good or allowing too much electrical noise through or something. Maybe it doesn't like being charged too quickly. The wifi problems do occur more frequently when I use the Anker cable to charge.
To be honest, I'm not holding out much hope for a solution. The phone is three years old, and even if I could have happily continued using it for another year or so, it is starting to show its age. I've been browsing Note 4s on ebay. It might be time for a change.

Headphone jack not working
Hello, I had my s3 sitting for a while and decide to use it (haven't used it for 7-8 months). So I go on Youtube and watch a video. The speaker works fine but whenever I insert the 3.5 mm jack, I cant hear anything and if I remove it the speaker stop working.
I have tried multiple ROMS (CM13, DU 5.1, Stock 4.4.2) but they all seem to have the same issue. I also tried 3 different headphones.
What could be the issue?

[Headphone Jack] Issue with audio output / Sound
Im having the exact same issues described here, so basically i thought it was my headphones that were broken even though they worked in my pc, i thought maybe they were just broke and didnt want to work with my RN3P (they were amazon fire headphones, decent ones) and so i ordered a pair of Piston 3s and they arrived today, plug them in and sound outputs into the headphones which is good i guess, but there is still some weird ass audio issue, i really dont know how to describe it, its like the channels are being messed up, id appreciate any help towards fixing this issue, ive tried rebooting obviously, and im running stock miui 7.3.7.0 right now, no root or anything else, ive also tried reflashing via edl mode, re-setup everything and it stays the same ;-; also tried messing with the eq settings as one person had some success with that in the reddit post but that yielded no results unfortunately :/

Headphone jack problem??
Hello Everyone,
I am from India. I recently got my OP3.. and Its a absolute Beast!! But strangely I am facing the Headphone jack issues. When I enter the headphones into the jack the music plays and stops. The headphone jack seems to be loose. Not quite sure whether its a software issue or hardware issue. Can someone please help me over here?
P.S. I am running on OxygenOS 3.1.3. Can someone confirm if they are facing the same problem? or after the update the issue is fixed? I havent received my update for 3.2.1 yet. I have only 3 days to return and ask for replacement. Please Help :(:(:crying:

Horrible audio over headphone jack. disabled audio "enhacements"
Hello!
I have a rather annoying issue with the headphone jack on my p9000, it is heavily distorted.
When i'm playing music through the headphone jack in my car, the sound is just awfull on this phone!
loud crackling noises and heavy distortion on all volumes, even though the audio "enhacements" that comes out of the box is disabled. I've tried with multiple other phones and cables and i only experience this problem with the elephone p9000.
Is it just me having this problem? if not, any ideas?

Adding Unsupported network bands via headphone jack
As the tittle says, is it possible to add an antenna in the headphone jack that will allow all bands to be supported. Just like you can attach an infrared sensor and nfc smart pay chip via headphone jack. This would be really helpful as many bands are not supported by overseas phones.
