RAZR M Black Screen Of Death?

I just wiped and reinstalled stock using Droid Razr M Utilities 1.10, and it worked fine up untill i updated from 4.1.1 to whatever the newest update is, after the green bar was finished the screen turned off and now it wont turn back on, i have tried Power + Vol down for more than 2 mins, i tried leaving it charge for a couple hours and then tried vol down + Power again, and it still didnt work, please help, and thanks

Droid RAZR Battery Replacement Guide

I know threads like this might have been created many a times in the past but my confusion is a little different. I came up on many threads and youtube videos that have guided on jumpstarting the battery once its been dead. On few of the many I have read that a new firmware must be flashed after the process. My question is that if I place a new battery in the phone, do I still have to reflash the firmware?
