LG G3 D851 Unbrick Qualcomm 9008 Fully Working

Hello guys, I spent 2 weeks analyzing hex files in order to revive a D851 that I got my hands on. It was not an easy journey but I would like to share this with the devs or people who are looking at bring their bricks to life. ;)

What I did was actually hack the Sahara programmer files that WillCracker (BoardDiag) programs use. This comes in the attached files.

I have revived one D851 phone that I had dead. Right now it already booted into download mode and it is loading the *.tot.

Below you can see a screenshot of the dmesg showing that it is already in download mode (after being in QC HS USB 9008 mode)... I am so !"#$ happy :)

I flashed the partitions like in this other guide but please use the attached file or else it won't work.



NOTE: Please download the attached Willcracker Version for the D851, this is a modified one :cool: and is the only type of program I managed to use to revive my phone.

What exactly do I need to flash to go fully stock on the unlocked variant?

Sorry, I've been on a custom ROM this entire time but I want to flash everything back to stock. I think I'm still on the 1.5xx or 1.3xx baseband, with TWRP. Trying to get to the 1.8xx with stock recovery.

Any way to fully restore OS?

I am used to installing a custom recovery, wiping the whole phone, and installing the ROM i want, and then being happy.

I got my v10 used and I did a factory reset after turning it on, but is there no way to plug it in to your computer and have the lastest update from LG written to it?

Android 6.0.1 came out 18 days ago and it's hard to know how long it will be until VZW pushes it OTA.

N Dev Preview 3 (maybe fully working)

I used a kernel from here and the ftf for dev preview 3 from z3 i got the dev preview booting up on my z3c sim isnt working maybe thats because of modem from z3 i did a twrp backup and im flashing back my old modem then im gonna restore the backup if its working i will upload it to here.

What i tried :

WIFI: Working
Bluetooth: Working
GPS: Working
Sound: Working
Display: Working after setting dpi to 319

[Request] [i9506] Note 3 camera for marshmellow fully working

i need a fully working note 3 camera for marshmallow with slow motion, surround shot, UHD ....and all the other great features we used to enjoy on lollipop since it is the cam with best quality and compatibility
if it doesn't exist yet, please suggest some good replacements as i'm using a ported S7E ROM which basically uses the S7E camera (not fully compatible with our i9506 and quality is not that good )

Verizon S7 edge won't stay on after a certain time. But doesn't fully reboot

My Verizon S7 edge will turn off than back on very rapidly almost as if a quick boot was initiated. But there wasn't. Any suggestions?

Is a downgrade from fully stock MM possible?

My mom accidentally upgraded her Note to Marshmallow. She hates stock because of how slow it runs. I've had @hsbadr's CM on my Note for a while now and I really like it. She's willing to try it out, but now that she's upgraded to MM, there's no root.

Is it possible to flash the full Stock 5.1.1 tar, or do I have to wait for KingRoot? I remember someone saying, in one of the threads I'm subscribed to, that it could be downgraded, but I want to make sure, since this time it isn't my phone. I would try it myself and maybe soft brick my phone, but mine is already happily running CM.

The phone should be on the CPF3 firmware right now.

Need to fully wipe but i cant access recovery, fastboot or bootloader

I am on fireOS 5.1.2 and rooted and i cannot update, when i try to go to amazons recovery i get stuck on the Amazon logo. I need to unroot and completely wipe it.
