Cannot see my device under ADB devices

Hey guys,

I have been looking for solutions for 3days now and can't find it.

My phone is showing under device manager both when its on, and when in adb mode without exclamation mark.
I had SDK 24.4.1 installed, installed everything needed (I think) (Platforms, usb drivers,..)
Flashtool drivers installed, it shows device in fastboot devices but not in adb devices..

When I open CMD in admin mode, I cd to the platform tools folder and do 'Adb devices' It does not show.
I tried Adb kill-server not working, daemon starts succesfull but nothing shows under adb devices.

Also tried a different pc, same outcome.

Running windows 10

I hope its something really stupid I'm forgetting..

how to rum pokemon go with low spec devices (1gb ram) tutorial

I have 2 phones, Xperia T running 5.1.1 and an Xperia M running aosp 6.0.1 with nui kernel.
before doing this I could run it on the but was really laggy and the game was unplayable on the T.

Things you will need;
-root
-gl tools

Now you need to install gltools and install the 2nd driver.( on the play store but its paid, no warez here so no links)
Now open gl tools and find pokemon go.
Check force 16 bit rendering and optimise glsl shaders. Next set render resolution to 0.5 (doesn't effect a whole load but helped with the Ts 720 screen, probably not needed for lower res) and set downscale textures to 0.5. That's it done!
After doing this, the game runs butter smooth on my T and runs somewhat smoother on my M. This is all because the app uses less ram (was hitting nearly 600mb ram at most)

5.Repack your recovery.
6.Test it using fastboot boot repacked recovery name.img

i tried every thread and i searched in google, but nothing helps me.... both windows 10 and linux mint aren't working in fastboot or in adb with this device... help??? :confused:

Hey guys I am trying to unlock bootloader on my htc 10 and I get stuck on waiting for devices I tried it on usb 3.0 and usb 2.0 I have a windows 10 computer if anyone could help I would really appreciate it.

Why does Pokémon GO not work on our devices?

I have setup 20 or so different phones and tablets for others in the past week from bottom of the line 2012 phones to s7's and not a single one has problems with this app except for my phone. What gives?

Things I've tried: force GPU rendering, both versions of app, 6.9.0 maps and the latest maps with and without cache. Hell i have even changed roms and kernels. Nothing works.

The only time this app runs on this phone is when I setup a multi-window app on and ran it on half the screen. It works decent at best then.



What have you guys been doing to make it work? I see in the play store reviews for z5c others have the same issues but no one's asked yet.

Not Detected devices to adb

this problem happen when i'm trying flash stock rom via adb sideload. im totally sure about the step from beginning, 'till the step of connecting my devices into adb using cmd.
how can i flash if my device when it is cannot connect to adb?

Hello, I have the LeEco CDLA earphones (which we get with the LeEco Le 2). I tried using them with my OnePlus 3 but they arent working.. So is there any way to use them with the OnePlus 3?? Coz the sound quality is damn too awesome with them !! (P.S.: U must try 'em)

[GUIDE] Porting Between HTC MSM8974 Devices

This guide will explain to users on how to port from the HTC One M8, HTC One E8 and HTC Butterfly 2 roms to our beloved Desire EYE. The porting between these devices take little to no knowledge at all to do if you know how to logcat and read kernel last_kmsg.

In this guide i will explain how I've ported InsertCoin M8 to Desire EYE.. Should apply to all htc msm8974 devices.

Requirements :
- Developers Permission for the rom your porting if you plan to release
- Android Image Kitchen
- Basic knowledge on understanding my method of porting

InsertCoin ( Port )
Desire EYE Rom ( Base )

Step 1 : Fixing Camera
Each HTC MSM8974 devices have different camera modules thus need fixing
So take these similar libs from stock roms and place them into the rom your porting.

1. All /system/lib/libtuning** lib files from stock and place them in port in /system/lib/
2. All /system/vendor/lib/libchromatic** lib files from stock and place them in port in /system/vendor/lib/
3. Take /system/etc/res_ctrl** files from stock and place them in port in /system/etc/ ( fix camera resolution )

Step 2 : Fixing NFC

EYE, E8, and B2 all have same NFC driver. So this method will explain when porting from M8

ADB Devices Empty - But can ADB Connect To Fire TV?

Not sure why.......but ADB Devices is empty. I can do ADB connect IP addy and it works fine..but nothing on the device list. Tried restarting the Fire TV...replugging the ethernet cable....renabling/enabling Debugging...can anyone please assist?

Can I install one of those ROMs above to my Redmi 3 (for example)..?

I currently running on Xiaomi.eu Unofficial ROM v6.6.30.. In Android version section, there's written "5.1.1 LMY47V", what is that mean..? I also found some Nexus devices in link above with same version and code, is that mean I can use those ROMs to my device..?

If it's possible to use those official Android ROM to any devices rather than Nexus itself, what's to consider..? Like chipset, GPU, network, etc.. And what's the method to determine which ROM version compatible with device target..?

This is Directly related to the Mseries boxes.
The M8s+ device inperticular but its widely cloned and comes under many names.
MXIII, M8, M8s, M8s Plus etc. The chipset and storage are the important factors here.

Amlogic S8xx series devices, like the S802, S812 etc.

What are some Unbrick tools for Non-MTK devices?

I happen to know about SP Flash Tool since I recently used it to flash my Karbonn A35 which I had almost bricked entirely.

I'd like to know what are some other tools to unbrick non-MTK devices. For example, I have Asus Fonepad 7 which is Intel-atom based. Is there a way to unbrick/flash that? I'm also thinking about getting a Xiaomi Mi Pad soon which is based on ARM Cortex processor. What's the way to unbrick/flash that?

device not recognized via "adb devices"

hi,

I've unlocked my phone following the method on the wiki of cyanogenmod. But the only command that worked was "oem unlock".
My bootloader is unlocked anyway, I've installed the last twrp and cyanogenmod snapshot. Everything is working fine (?!)

but I don't know why the command "adb devices" shows me now nothing. It's related to drivers ? I try to install drivers via google usb drivers from the sdk but windows 10 don't modify anything.

If anyone can tell me why it's not fully functionnal ?

Petition to Require Unsupported Devices to have Bootloader Unlocked

[APP] HTC Sense Home Launcher for Non-Sense Devices

So apparently HTC has been working on bringing its Sense Home Launcher to non-HTC devices. Their latest beta apk seems to work fine on non-HTC devices. So far I've tested it out on my M8 running the latest H14 GPE and it seems to work fine enough (although I feel it looks less polished than the Sense 6/7 version with regards to Blinkfeed). Anyway, here's the link to the apk. Be sure to install the latest HTC Sense Home 8.01.775526 beta from June 30th. Apparently earlier versions don't work.

Test Notes
1. Blinkfeed works. However I couldn't seem to get Facebook to work. It asked for authorization but it just looped endlessly.
2. HTC seems to have brought the theme store to non-HTC devices as well. Have not had the chance to test it out thoroughly, so do report here if it does (or doesn't) work as it should.
3. If you were hoping HTC also brought the iconic Sense widgets like the huge clock + weather, you'll be disappointed. Didn't find any trace of it in the settings.
