Codes that work on my Active

*#06# (Display IMEI number)
*#1234# (Display current firmware)
*#*#4636#*#* (Diagnostic and general settings mode)
*#12580*369# (SW & HW Info)
*#0228# (ADC Reading)
*#2263# (RF Band Selection)
*#0*# (General Test Mode)
*#34971539# (Camera Firmware Update)
*#9900# (System Dump Mode)
*#2663# (TSP / TSK firmware update)
*#8736364# (OTA Update Menu)
*#7353# (Quick Test Menu)
#7465625*638*# (Insert Network Lock Control Key)

Let me know if these work for you..
I'm on the CPF1 firmware 6.0.1
****Careful some of these can really screw up your phone.
--------------If you do screw up your phone, its because you played with a setting you most likely should not have--------------

If these do work for you, I would not take anymore OTA's because I can almost assure you that many of these codes will most likely be inaccessible after.

need your vote for active root

please vote for 6.0.1 root at this link

http://forum.xda-developers.com/gala...-root-t3430123

do it as soon as possible root almost ready according to messi

Xposed framework is installed, but not active

Device: Meize MX4
Build: Flyme 5.1.5.0G
OS: Lolipop MR1 (5.1)
Architecture: armv7l

I installed XposedInstaller_3.0_alpha4.apk from here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=3034811

And download xposed-v86-sdk22-arm.zip from here:
http://dl-xda.xposed.info/framework/sdk22/arm/

I don't have an custom recovery, So I installed the SDK manually by this steps:
1. Decompressed xposed-v86-sdk22-arm.zip
2. Copy all files in "bin" to "/system/bin" with "rwxr-xr-x" permissions
3. Copy the file in "framework" to "/system/framework" with "rw-rw----" permissions
4. Copy all files in "lib" to "/system/lib" with "rw-rw----" permissions
5. Copy the file "xposed.prop" to "/system" with default permissions
6. Rebooting the system

At the main menu of Xposed I see this message under "Framework" title:
"The lastest version of Xposed is currently not active, Did you install the framework and reboot?"

And when I press on "Framework" I see this message:
"Xposed framework version 86 is installed, but not active, Please check the logs for details."

When I switch to "Logs" I see that:
"Could not read log: /data/data/de.robv.android.xposed.installer/log/error.log: open failed: ENOENT (No such file or directory)"

Can someone help me please?
Thanks!

S7 Active root?

Google didn't turn up much, I have the S7 active and love it so far, But there is a few things I don't like about it - That's the volume (Music, etc) and the amount of bloatware on it. Was wondering if there was root out for this phone yet? Mine is the AT&T variant.

Guide to upgrade KII-L21 to MM & active FP of Custom Roms.

Dear XDA & Fellow Community Members,

This Guide is for KII-L21 variant ONLY!

& hereby declare that not I nor XDA is responsible for any damage & or WW3 trigger of your device.
Try at your own risk.

Assuming you have variant KII-L21 ( cust version : C636D00x/C185D00x )
& also on stock LP firmware, rooted, bootloader unlocked, TWRP installed.

if not, search forum for BL unlock, rooting & TWRP installation guide.

Step 1 : Take a clean Nandroid of existing installation of your device.

Step 2: Flash stock recovery via ADB & Fastboot of your last known stock rom installed
this one worked for me : https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24545070682210594

Command : adb reboot bootloader
fastboot devices
fastboot flash recovery *recovery img name*.img

Step 3 : Download your exact firmware.According to cust version stated in "About Phone" of your last stock rom.
( cust version : C636D00x/C185D00x )
Cust : C636D00x >>> http://consumer.huawei.com/vn/mobile...n.htm?id=82266
Cust : C185D00x >>> http://forum.xda-developers.com/hono...tered-t3388491

Step 4 : Extract the zip & copy dload folder to your SD card. It'd be safer if a high speed fresh SD is used I suppose.

Step 5: Turn off your Device, the press the Volume up+Volume Down+power button at same time for 10 seconds,
then release the power button only. you'll see firmware upgrading. wait for upgrade to finish.

Step 6 : If you wish , you can set up EMUI, but not mandatory. now, flash TWRP again.

Step 7 : Download any build newer than 20th july of CM , download gapps Nano, flash together via TWRP
if any error is found, just factory reset from TWRP & flash again.
CM Thread : http://forum.xda-developers.com/hono...ghtly-t3344499

Step 8 : First boot might take few minutes, after booting, set up CM. Voila !!! FP works like charm ^_^

Extra steps >>>>>

if you want FP on Ressurection Remix, just dirty flash RR latest build just after setting up CM. it worked for me, not sure if it will work for you or not. if found boot loop, i'll suggest waiting for @maxprzemo to update RR.

& Again, Thanks to @crpalmer & @BadDaemon for everything they have done for our device. :good:
& also thanks to al the moderators & whole XDA community ^_^ :good:
:highfive: :highfive: :highfive:

6s active off of ebay

I bought an s6 active off of eBay. When I went to boot it up everything was fine till I got to a Samsung account lock. I don't know if it's appropriate to ask but does anyone know how I can use my own account. The person I bought it from says they are a pawnbroker and they can get the info or talk to the person to remove the device from their account. If you can help awesome, if not I understand, if you can point me in the right direction cool. I would contact Samsung like I've done in the past but I cant even get the imei from it. If this is not an okay post please delete it and pm me so I don't make the same mistake. Thanks much

S4 Active AT&T restarts when i press the home button

Thanks to all the numerous posts contributed on the forum i was able to root the NH4 update of my phone, i thought after rooting i would have solved this problem, unfortunately, it still persists. when i press the home button on my s4 active, it restarts the phone, at first I thought it was the TouchWiz that was the problem, so I turned off the app, i also got root and cleared cache. even now I installed button saviour and pressed the home button on that, :( :( it restarted the phone, what do i do next?

Galaxy S4 Active GPS Fix That Worked For Me

So My GPS randomly stopped working completely one day and so I started doing research on ways to improve it. I literally tried everything from application quick fixes, leaving my phone sitting outside for hours on end, ROM fixes... ext and nothing helped at all. I finally came across this article and, since I had nothing to lose at this point, I gave it a shot. When I finished, i got GPS fix within 2 seconds! This option is not for everyone, I really suggest making sure that the software/application fixes don't help first because taking apart your phone certainly has its risks but if you are like me and nothing has been working, there is hope!

http://www.instructables.com/id/Galaxy-S4-GPS-repair/

Check this article out and give me a shout out if it worked for you too.

Rooting Samsung Active S5 on Marshmallow?

I recently upgraded my Samsung S5 active from a rooted Lollipop to the new Marshmallow.
Is there anybody here who were able to do a systemless root on their S5 Active? Or are
wee pretty much SOL because our bootloaders are locked?

Thanks

My Wi-Fi direct is there, but it's not really active.

Hi,
My current phone is Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos GT-I9082L, I'm using Glade Rom right now. My Wi-Fi is there, but it's not really active. It doesn't even shows when I'm about to choose the option on Share Via. Is there anyway I can activate it or use a third-party app without the QR Scan Code? Since most of people nowadays don't use QR Code Scanner anymore. Thank you! :fingers-crossed:

Whatsapp - mobile radio active battery drain

Can't find an answer to this.

Whatsapp is the only app that's causing battery drain for me. I tried Greenify, but then I don't receive messages.

What options are there for limiting it? Battery drain is insane, all due to mobile radio active.

My S6 Active no longer works with any computers...

Was going to transfer some Roms between my phone and computer when I suddenly start receiving this notice:

"The last USB device you connected to this computer has malfunctioned and windows doesn't recognize it"

Upon further inspection in the device manager I get this:

Unknown USB Device (Device Descriptor Request Failed)

I've tried uninstalling it numerous times and have tried reinstalling the official Samsung drivers but nothing is working. It's not working on any computer I try it with so at this point I don't know what else to do. It was working fine just a few hours ago.

illico application crashes when xPosed is active

Hi,

Sorry if this has been reported before or if it is a known issue, my basic search did not come up with a hit.

I've been using Xposed for few years now without any issues, except with this one App.
Illico

I test the app before activating Xposed, and it works fine
I tested it after rooting, and it still works fine.
Only after activating Xposed that it crashes when playing media, the app works fine, but it crashes anytime I try to play media.

Here's the Xposed log if it gives any clues to what the issue might be.

Is the bootloop issue active to sway a new customer elsewhere

The G4's price at some spots like Amazon is amazing to pass up. I have done my research on various phones and stay active on everything. With to many phones and variants in existence I can't be an expert on all. I'm still seeing the bootloop issue in forums but LG addressed this like 6 months ago. Are new in box versions of the G4 fixed? Or will these be phones that set in a warehouse for a year and will have the problem. I'm a android enthusiast tweaker. So my next phone has to be a contender with development. The 2 most important things. I recently bought a OnePlus 2 but after a ridiculous amount of negativity regarding hardware/software issues and overall negative real world reviews I sent it back before the 30 days were up. Most of which was recent times sadly. While some people might have a great version OP2 with good luck way to many people were sitting with a 0 brick in another country waiting forever. Sorry to ramble but I've been searching for 2 months now for a great midrange device that can be bought at 0 or less and have development but not have a guaranteed broken feature.
