Sprint/ Boost mobile Root

i was searching on how to root the boost mobile samsung J7 J700p and i came across this page http://www.androidinfotech.com/2016/...j700p.html?m=1, can anyone confirm this is legit or has anybody else come across this site and tested yet. i can test myself once i get back home, but im on the road now and dont want to possibly brick my phone away from home
