Would it be possible to flash some sort of firmware onto the S6 active to allow recovering formatted data from the internal storage? I'm not concerned with the phone ever working again, as long as the data can be retrieved in some manner. I've searched extensively and see that root may very well never happen for this phone, so I am hoping there may be some 'last resort' way to recover data.
Any thoughts on this?
