need help adding support for external usb wifi adapters...OTG USB WIFI kernel module?

I'm searching for this all over xda and net and haven't been successful ,So i followed this guide ,because it seemed to be covering everything in question, and the next page also has a helpful step by step but for a different phone

http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2338179

I marked the atheros based wifi card as * and ralink cards as *
And compiled the kernel with ubertc 4.9.4 .it compiled smoothly.i put it in the zip kernel dev provided.flashed it.
But when i tried to use it inside a chroot ubuntu 13.10 (complete linux installer) it doesnt list wifi adapter No matter which one i use . Flashing via fastboot doesn't seem to work either

Dmesg | grep -i usb show the atheros and ralink adapters but lsusb says

unable to initilize libusb -99

then i thought ill compile drivers as modules and manually insmod them still no luck

Then i thought ill compile it inside chroot ubuntu itself but it requests kernel headers for module compiling. apt-get install kernel-headers-generic doesnt work either

Note:
Insmod and modprobe doesnt work in either root terminal
Or chroot environment

It doesnt work with cm11 kernel either

I downloaded stock kernel from HTC dev for the 4.25.651.18 sources and compiled it,most mkbootimg tools does not recognize signed_boot.img I pull from firmware or official ruu to unpack ,mkboot from xialou does, but repacking it doesn't seem to work , modifying stock viperone m8 4.6.1 boot .img and repacking my own compiled zimage-dtb with it repacks successfully but doesn't boot beyond HTC logo and after that just a blank screen, with nothing else

What do i need to make this work.plz help ,im trying desperately for almost 1 month to make it work ,and i think ive looked for it in every nook and crany,

1 more thing i noticed that accessory charger (or something else) which is supposed to enable charging as well as usb host mode at the same time is not selected.is it because m8 is incapable of this feature?is it a hardware limitation?do I need a powered usb hub or a y org cable ? Do I need to modify something in wpa_supplicant ?

I admit im a noob in this matter but please guide me in this

wifi Cards i have

Atheros at9271 based tplink wn 722n
Ralink rt 5370 based tenda w311m

Htc one m8 sprint
Using multirom recovery
