I know the 'N' icon in the status bar is notifying when near field communication is active, however, I have disabled NFC and all Android Pay and Samsung Pay apps on my phone and yet this icon still appears every now and then, and it will only go away if I restart the phone.
I notice that after a night of charging that most times I wake up and see the icon. I can't remember another situation when it happens, so possibly something to do with charging the phone? Also, I'm not using wireless charging so that is not the issue. Does anyone know why this icon appears after disabling NFC, and how I could prevent it from doing so?
