CM13 with ZUK Z1 - app drawer and settings issue

Hi everyone,

I have applied CM13 (cm-13.0-20160418-SNAPSHOT-ZNH0EAO2NN-ham.zip) to my ZUK Z1 yesterday, installed it using TWRP (3.0.2.0) in a queue with GApps (stock). After reboot, the app optimization started, until all finished, the text "Starting apps..." appeared, and then it hung. After a few seconds, it rebooted, the CM logo appeared, and then it rebooted again. The device stuck in a bootloop.

After some research in this forum, I found a thread with someone having the same problem. The solution was to install Radioactive Kernel. That worked for me, too, the Z1 started, and I could work with it.

But I have two questions.

1. question regarding the app drawer. It looks totally different then the app drawer in Nexus 4 (also on CM13).
Unfortunately I am not allowed to post images or links, therefore I have to describe. On Nexus 4 the apps are sorted alphabetically, on the left big letters A-Z, and a horizontal scroll bar A-Z.
On Z1 it looks a bit different. The apps are sorted alphabetically, but there is no scroll list A-Z. And the apps are not separated by letters, meaning they are simply listed. No separations between apps starting with A, and apps starting with B. Makes apps hard to find.

Does anyone have an idea, what is causing this?

Installed ROMs:
ZUK Z1:
cm-13.0-20160418-SNAPSHOT-ZNH0EAO2NN-ham.zip
open_gapps Stock
Radioactive Reborn Kernel V2.17

Nexus 4:
cm-13.0-20160429-SNAPSHOT-ZNH0EAO2YJ-mako.zip
open_gapps Pico

2. question regarding the settings
When I long press in an empty space on the home screen, the settings appear (with "Backgrounds", "Widgets", "Settings" at the bottom). With my Nexus 4, I see three dots above "Widgets" to jump into Settings. With my Z1, the three dots are not available. That's really weird, I don't know, why and what is causing this. Anyone an idea?

Thanks for any helpful hints and Best regards
Daniel
