I have an S3 I9305 with CM11 and a ZeroLemon 7200 battery. Have had no issues until last night, after years of use.
I have more than a few chargers, one of them always goes slowly. It's good for overnight charging and usually I can get more than a day out of a charge with this big charger.
Last night, though, I put it on to charge and after a little while I noticed that it was scorching hot. My battery monitor app read 131F. The charge percentage had gone down although it had been plugged in for a while.
When it had cooled, I tried plugged it in to a different charger and it failed to register that it was plugged in. The same is true for every charger I've tried. The only one that shows up in the OS is the one that caused the problem, and it immediately gets hot.
I have cleaned lint from the port and tried a stock battery. The issue remains. Also worth noting that when I plugged into a PC, it registers for five seconds and then behaves a though nothing is plugged in.
Finally, if I plug in the only charger that registers, with the phone powered off, it seems not to actually charge.
I've scoured these forums and I've found similar issues but none that seem quite like mine.
Is it a hardware problem? I recall that the phone took a bit of a fall yesterday.
