Hi everyone,
I tried to use Android's screencap utility to capture video playback with some devices with different Android version. And it worked with a Android 6.0 device, failed with one device with Android 5.0.1 , failed with another device with Android 4.4.2 . Here failed means only got black image. And all the devices has been rooted , and the screencap command were all executed with root account after successful su command.
By the way, when it comes to other UI screencap excepts video playback, everything was ok.
Is this anything related with the difference between video playback and normal UI generation? something like GPU video buffer and frame buffer?
So what is the real problem that caused the different results?
Thanks!
