I am looking to buy a new phone and right now I am split between the Redmi 3 pro and Redmi 3S pro. I love the way they look on paper. The battery, the lack of a 1080p screen (I find 1080p screens on <6" phones useless, 900p should be the norm here), the size, the price, the RAM.
The only difference I know is in the SoC. The one in 3S looks more future-proof (Adreno 505), but it's useless to be future proof if no one is taking advantage of that.
I know I should give it time, but the only people talking about the 3S are "thanks" commenters on the miui forums. Google searching that phones yields results for the Redmi 3. It has no global ROM. There are 3 threads about it on XDA, none having a reply.
Which one should I go for?
