I tried many step counter apps but smost of them needs to many battery or was to inaccurate.:p
Now i have found an acceptable app for me.

It uses the internal stepcounter sensor and needs less battery!
I use the ingnore battery optimization in setup/apps/extra menu too.
i have tested it against to a mechanicel counter. 1000 Steps are 983 counted.
This seems to be good enaugh for my use.
