Galaxy tab 4 changed dpi and factory reset while rebooting

I accidentally changed the dpi on myrooted galaxy tab 4 8.0 running lollipop 5.1.1 and factory reset after it took almost 30 minutes trying to boot up. Settings, multi window, keyboard, and possibly countless other things have not worked since.
