I've got a Galaxy a3, model sm-a300FU.
It was bought in the UK and it came with the O2 provider.
I tried inserting a VODAFONE sim and it requested an unlock code.
I used ODIN to flash a Vodafone Portugal stock rom (A300FUXXU1BPC2_A300FUVFG1BPC1_TCL) but it failed giving this error:
Tried to boot and it said the firmware update encountered an error.
I used ODIN to flash TWRP, and managed to boot.
I have a TWRP backup from before flashing the vodafone rom which I used it to restore the failed rom flash.
My questions are:
1- how can i fix that ODIN error? is it because i used the wrong rom?
2- Do i have an incomplete firmware now or did the TWRP backup successfully restored the firmware?
2.5- If i have an incomplete flash, which stock rom should i use to go back to how it initially was?
3- Is it even possible to flash a rom from a different provider? I've read (after trying to flash) that it shouldnt work.
