Secure Settings or dt2w Support

Hi,

for the last 2 Days, I have not been able that Secure Settings is working correctly.

I have tried with stock rom (4.2.2) and CM13 (6.0), both with root. I have activated System+ with root access with no problems, but no action does working with tasker.

Also, I can not find a Kernel for Nexus 10, that support dt2w. Is there no Chance to get this feature?

Thanks for helping.

Uninstalled a system/buil-in app but still showing up [rooted]

Hello,
I rooted my phone with Kingroot and it was successful. I wanted to root for uninstalling built-in google apps. So, I used the uninstall feature of Kingroot and uninstalled the Cloud Print. It was showed that the app was successfully uninstalled but it's still showing up in the app manager without icon (notice the file size). I've attached screenshots for better understanding the problem. If you need more info than feel free to ask but help me out !!!

I want to completely remove these unwanted apps. :(
Follow the links for screenshots [I can't provide any link or image because this is my first post and I can attach after 10 posts]-

How to Fix a Water Damaged Phone

Drop your phone into a sink, pool, or toilet? Expose it to moisture? These can damage your phone. Don’t panic. You can fix a water-damaged phone without a penny. Follow the steps to proceed with a phone revival process.

1.Try a Different Battery
Phone has no response to a charger? Exposed to liquid, the phone will not power. In this case, you are advised to remove the battery and replace it with a working one of the same model so as to check whether there is a battery issue. You can borrow one from a friend or family member.

The most common issue that leads to non-working water-damaged phone should be charging and power issues. Once your phone is dropped into water or get wet, dry the phone especially the battery in no time.

2.Clean the Water-damaged Phone with Alcohol
Alcohol? Sounds interesting! Believe it or not, it works. If a phone is exposed to salt water, chlorine water, or just fresh water that may mix with chemicals, minerals, sediments, and corrosion. Drop your phone in 99% alcoholic liquid. Because alcohol is non conductive, it won’t cause a short. And it will get into everywhere of your phone to give a clean. Just sit back. After one hour, get the phone out of the liquid and let it dry. Then it should work.

Please note that you must check your phone LDI (Liquid Damage Indicator) Sticker before doing that. If the LDI Sticker of your water damaged phone is still white (warranty is still valid), and you put it into alcohol, the LDI will be activated. So we don’t recommend this method but trying to file a warranty claim. But if the sticker has been activated (warranty is void), you can try to fix it with this method first.

Now your phone has been fixed. Power the phone on and see if it works normally or not. Besides, check files in the device. Water damage can cause severe data loss. If you are unlucky to lose your files, hurry to recover data with a recovery program, FonePaw Android Data Recovery for example.

Android System battery drain and crazy overheating

So yeah, this is a Galaxy S4 I've had for over three years (bought it on May 6 2013, started using about three weeks later on May 30). It's a non-LTE i9500 model purchased in Indonesia, rooted back on KitKat but unrooted to update to Lollipop and have not re-rooted since. Running Android 5.0.1 with Dec security patch, and just re-flashed stock firmware from SamMobile trying to fix its horrible battery life, but not possible it seems. Battery is about a year old and is my third unit after the first two swelled up and became unusable, this one seems fine but has a habit of dropping quickly when used and regaining some battery power on standby. When used for light browsing the processor heats up to almost insane levels not even the famously hot Snapdragon 808 reaches on my G4, but cools down quickly as well, with the software never acknowledging such heat and remaining responsive throughout the whole time. Is there any technical explanation for such occurences?

[Q] Downgrade CWM and restore to stock?

Ok guys need a little help. I installed CM13 on my HD+ using the instructions in the HD+ Android Development section. I want to take the HD+ back to stock. I was following this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2062613 and read that you need to flash the NookHDplus-factory-2.2.1-plain-stock.zip using CWM version 6036 or earlier.
So my question is I guess do I need to make a CWM SD card with CWM 6036, boot that, then swap out that card for one with the NookHDplus-factory-2.2.1-plain-stock.zip, and flash that, or do I need to downgrade the emmc version somehow to CWM 6036, then boot the NookHDplus-factory-2.2.1-plain-stock.zip, and flash that if that makes any sense?

Thanks!

T-MO 6.0.1 Marshmallow PE3 Stock Rom?

I was stupid enough to start messing with system/apps before making a nandroid backup and it looks like I've removed a T-MO app that hooks to Wi-Fi calling. Anyone have a backup of the stock system partition?
